I’m so glad that things are going well for you! I am definitely interested in knowing more about your hip journey over the last few months as I have a year ahead that include two upcoming PAOs. So I’m trying to learn everything I can about what to expect.

Hey there! Thanks so much for watching! I'm sorry to hear about your upcoming PAOs, but know you're not alone and this community is here to support you! As highly requested, this week's video is about all things hip surgery related! I give updates on my progress farther out from my hip surgeries, review my most recent imaging, chat about what i've learned in PT and from my last visit with my ortho surgeon, plans for the future, and much more! It releases in a couple of hours, so make sure to check it out and lemme know what you think!

I‘m so happy for you! Congrats on all of your accomplishments❤ I would also love to hear about your hip progress and about like how much you can actually walk now 😊 I have hip dysplasia on both sides and will need surgery soon, but I‘m really scared… Your videos really help me and I love watching them so much! Hey, me too, I am interested in your hip journey, I had PAO last August in Switzerland. I can relate to you so well as I am the same age as you. I can run slowly now but still, I am struggling sometimes with running or other workouts (climbing) that I used to do before the surgery. I had two surgeries, PAO, and femoral derotation osteotomy at the same time on my right hip. But sometimes if I run fast or suddenly move, it feels like my femoral head is stuck in the acetabulum and it hurts. Recently I got ulcers in my stomach and went to the emergency room because of the NSAIDs. I also realized that my knee movement is not so natural, it doesn't bend naturally like the other side. I sometimes limp like running fast, and it brought an imbalance in my shoulder height. How is your walking? Could you also show me some good exercises that helped you? I am doing now pilates, my physical therapist made me do squats with weights(bar plus weights 30kg) and I stopped doing it because it was hurting.....

Hey there! Our stories are so similar!!! An update video drops in a few hours (11 AM) that chronicles my progress, I go through some of my own complications, and I do show some of the exercises I've been doing with PT. Lemme know what you think and if there's anything else you want me to cover in future videos!

Glad you’re doing great! Nice photography work! Would love to hear about how much the surgery has helped you! I used to be really active and ride mountain bikes, now I can barely walk a few blocks! Docs say I need the FAI arthroscope and the PAO on both sides, so possible 5 surgeries in the next year. ☹️🥲

Hey there! Thanks so much for watching! I am sorry to hear about your mobility restrictions, and can honestly relate so much to this :/ I am walking more now and possibly on the path to being able to run soon, so fingers crossed that your post-op your recovery progress can be successful as well!
