We leave all of our fall decorations up until Thanksgiving (anything overtly Halloween-ee gets put away after the 31st) and then we put the Christmas stuff out after Thanksgiving. Always done it that way here in New England.

Ever since my niece was born in 1999, I have gifted her and now her siblings a Hallmark Keepsake ornament for that year. I usually choose an ornament on what is their interest for that year. Star Wars, nightmare, Harry Potter, instruments or other characters or subjects. They really look forward to that surprise. One day they’ll have a lot of ornaments for their own homes or rooms.

All 3 of my kids had their own Christmas tree in their bedroom. Added new ornament every year. Kept them separate in a box with names labeled and when they left home- the box went with them. They definitely had their favorites. They literally would see the tree light up in their bedroom when they came home from school and screamed with excitement when they ran up the steps to start decorating it…🎄

My son is 21 now, and every Christmas I put his homemade ornaments with his hand print on the tree. He loves seeing them, and family members are amazed I have kept them this long. We did ages 1-6 that, his hand got too big for the ornaments. After that we made something different every year for Christmas activities. Enjoy making memories because time will pass by very fast. 🎶 It's the most wonderful time of the year.......🎶

Hi MaCenna honestly ever since we've used your candles we don't want to ever use other candles anymore. I'm just scared to be collecting all the candle jars and don't get to reuse them as much as I burn the candles. ^_^ it would be lovely to buy refills from you. I love that you will be getting Cade an ornament each year. If I could share something I did for my children... I bought each child an ornament every year and a bonus one for me to keep. Then when they left home and started having their own trees, I gave them a box with 1 of all the ornaments we had collected over the years. I kept the extra. Now my grandchildren love to come an look for the same ornaments on my tree and the cousins' tree. Very happy tradition that spans the generations!

Holidays are such a lovely time. It is great to hear Romeos enthusiasm. FYI, small fresh trees sell out fast, so keep your eye out once they appear. I couldn't tell for sure from the photos, but it is likely your berry tree is a Toyon tree. They are native in CA, and that is where Hollywood got its name. We had one in our back garden, and I always used it for decorating at Christmastime.

You can cook your chestnuts now and when your fire it lit you can eat then but don’t forget to pierce them or they will explode in your oven , I love chestnuts at Christmas in my stuffing chopped up into small pieces x

Every year my mom let us pick out our own ornament for the tree. We would put our initials on it and the year. Looking back we can see what we were into or liked at that age. I now do that with my kids.

Yes, noix is the french word for nut and you dont prononce the x, also the sound oi is hard for non french speaker to prononce. I only realized the name of the candle was noix becose it was written, I tough she said knox, like the gelatine brand. The great thing is you dont have to be able to prononce the name to buy it and enjoy the fragrance 😊

You could probably make your pine cones fuzzy by flocking them. Instead of spraying with fake snow cut up some white wool as small as possible, add white glue to your pinecone and roll it in or sprinkle on (could even add a little super fine white glitter for a magic glint to the snow) simple 😊 I’m allergic to the Norwegian trees and every time I choose a real one I always pick them by mistake because I go for that shape. No real trees from now on.

My daughter always had her own little tree. All the ornaments she picked out and they where non breakable. She could rearrange it as much as she wanted and left the family tree alone. She is 31yrs old and still has some of her ornaments.

Nothing to do with Christmas but… we got a kit that we put our hands in with it baby and it is amazing 30 yrs later. It is a great treasure for grown up children. I was wondering if your pumpkins are still fit for human consumption…. ? If they are you could donate to a homeless kitchen? Get Romeo to help you cut and split them steam some for making pumpkin pies or soup! Pumpkin soup is okay with steaming but so nice if you roast pumpkin then mash it up and use for soup! I roast pumpkin to eat with a roast …so good as a veggie! I grew up and was educated in Texas, be ate pumpkin pies and pumpkin cakes with cream cheese frosting. But living here in Australian for over 30 yrs I’ve learned it is a great veggie, good for you, your baby and Kinsley. I cook it for my cavashon Eddie and he loves it. I even do it in the microwave for fast turn around and cube it for the dog. It’s great for their being regular! Thanks for the video today love you and your channel! 😊❤
