One trick ive learned referring to bleeding motorcycle hydraulic brakes/clutches is the zip tie trick. Pull the handle as far back as it will go and apply a zip tie in that position. Let it sit overnight, remove it the next day and like magic it becomes firmer again. The fluid under pressure will push all air still in the system up into to master cylinder. Has worked for me 100%

Hi from Scotland…..got the 500. I got a custom heritage distressed leather seat. (Medical gel/memory foam. Love your 1100, with your mods etc. Busy watching the Euros football ⚽️ (Scotland) So will watch at bed time.😊

It all ended with the usual glorious failure for the Scotland team unfortunately - I'm English, live in Kent, never been to Scotland or have any family there, but the first kit I ever got was the Scotland one for the 1978 World Cup - I was 8 years old back then, and the kits long gone but I've still got the FIFA World Cup 1978 Scotland badge from it. 👍🏽👍🏽

i found a old 5 1/4 floppy drive computer. that we got up and running. and played a game called voo doo castle it took a hour just to remember how to boot it. didn't finish the game i got tired of typing go right over and over then go forward 1000 times then LOOK and wait for 5 minutes to load up and tell me what was there but it was fun to bring back on memories. it was give to me at a garage sale and i was nice enough to give it to someone else

Sorry for the late reply! My Rebel has about 12K miles on it so far. The only issues that I've experienced (or heard about from other owners) are the following: - Leaky stator cover oil seal: fixed by factory/extended warranty, easy at-home fix with Honda Bond gasket sealer - Front wheel wobble (head shake): all Rebel 1100's do this to some extent under hard acceleration above 75 mph, solution is to reduce throttle slightly or just ride it out - Weak battery and hard starting: replace battery with a stronger LiFePO4 unit (NOCO NLP14: amzn.to/45RJ0T3 ) - Mediocre OEM Dunlop tires: replace with Metzeler CruiseTec tires for better handling and wet grip - Erratic DCT shifting and idle issues: performing the DCT reset/relearn procedure fixes the issues ( @OnTheRebel11 kzbin.info/www/bejne/bWq4gaSwpcSUjqM ) - Vapor/vacuum lock in fuel tank causing hard starts: open fuel lid to equalize pressure Overall, I've had very few problems with my Rebel, and it's a fun bike to ride. The Rebel is such a great looking bike. I only wish it was designed for taller riders. I'm 6-2 and find it hard to find a comfortable bike outside of ADV type bikes. ☹️

Yep, the Rebel 1100 isn't comfortable for riders who are 6' or taller. Handlebar risers and forward controls stretch things out a bit, but those cost extra $$$ beyond the original purchase. 😉👍 --QM

Great choice, Quasi! I have the same seat on my ‘22 Rebel. For a short rider like myself, I find it perfect. It helps me with positioning to the bars and ground reach. I used Gus’ video to make my decision.

The telemetry data for the heads-up display is recorded by my GoPro Hero11 camera (and my Garmin Zumo GPS when I'm riding with it). The gauge overlay is generated using a third-party program called Telemetry Overlay: goprotelemetryextractor.com/ I stitch everything together with Adobe Premiere Pro to create the final videos. Creating the overlays is a lot of extra work, but I think the end results are worth the effort. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
