Hi quasi! I Recieved the prototype of the brake lines yesterday, I'll be tackling the project soon! I'll keep you posted. Regarding the front brake pads, if you haven't replaced them yet and plan on doing so, I would recommend getting the EBC EPFA 700HH, they have much better bite than FA 700HH. I'm so happy that you are liking the mustang bro! 👍

Ive been using the Midea brand for over 5 years now. I love their products,very well priced and very good quality. The local hardware store i buy them from says customers always rate that brand highly. I currently have 2 Midea portable airconditioning,an electric oven,2 electrical stoves,a front-load washer and a dryer.

5:00 Regarding plastic engine coolant parts; it seems more and more manufacturers are doing this. I remember seeing a plastic water pump housing on a friend's VW a few years ago and understand it is a common failure. Plastic and hot coolant are not a good idea.

With most product makers at this point behind every good engineer is a "value engineer" that takes what would be good designs and replaces them with cheaper worse parts to meet the minimum reliability and cost while they want maximum price for it. There are a few places where plastic parts are acceptable but it can't be something that's for liquids that are hot in a very hot environment with massive heat cycle swings. If it's a static part it's not as much of an issue but it still needs to be designed well. There was a recall recently because gm took the already not that safe scissor jacks and changed them to plastic. Because for some reason they thought they could save some pennies they had to recall them because they were breaking.

Hi Quasi! I know some things about Hot Water tanks and you could be lucky! I don't think your problem with your hot water tank is electrical because of the hurricane. it probably cause a air pocket in your gas line and that's what caused the pilot light to go out shutting off the hot water tank that way you house to Blow Up like a Bomb!!🔥🚒 They are designed to shut off the gas when the pilot light goes out, so you don't get a house for gas. Over the years working in restaurants and at home. I've had problems with hot water tanks and had to re-light to them which is what I think your problem is. More than likely you had an air pocket, in the gas line and it blew out the pilot light! If you're lucky, all you need to do is relight the pilot light and that should take care of the problem and allow the hot water tank to run normally The pilot light is how the hot water tank mainly operates because that is the main source of fire to light up the rest of the hot water tank! Basically the hot water tank is a little source of fire that has a heated nodule that keeps the pilot light lit. On the base of the hot water tank usually is a set of instructions on how to relight or light a new hot water tank! If you're not sure look up your hot water tank online or better still look up how to relight your hot water tank. It'll give you the basic idea of what you're doing regarding the directions on your own hot water tank! How what works is that there is a switch that says on one section pilot light and the other section. On the switch that says the on position. There is a metal filament that heats up and that keeps the pilot light running and hopefully that's not going to need replacing! I wouldn't replace that myself if that is the problem. I would call somebody and to fix it but I don't think that's your problem. You might need a stick lighter to kickstart the pilot light but hopefully you won't need one, but I would have one just in case!. First thing you have to do is take out the door or open it, depending on your hot water tank. So you can see into the bottom of it First turned the dial on the side of the water tank to the off position. Then hold the red button down for several minutes then turn the switch while you're holding the red button down to the pilot light position. That should relight the pilot light but sometimes we need to use the stick lighter to light the pilot light manually. You want to turn the switch to the pilot light position and it usually has a red button which you have to push and hold for several minutes. Look the underneath or lower side of the tank while you're doing this to see if the pilot light turns on. It's a very small flame if that stays on! Then turn the dial to the on position and it should immediately fully light. I would recommend watching a few videos on how to relight your hot water tank before you try to do yours! I hope I made the instructions clear enough for you to follow that's why said watch some videos to see how it's done by professionals, because every tank is different depending on year make and model. Hopefully it's only that and it should be a very quick and easy fix! Usually it's just an air pocket which blows the pilot light out. Because it's robbed of gas which it needs to keep going! Anyway, looking forward to seeing The Silver Wing on the road! As always, I enjoy the videos. Stay Safe And Have a Good Ride. John

Agreed! I tried the long reset procedure of full-off, 3-5 mins of pilot priming and restriking (electronic ignitor), but didn't have any luck. The gas valve is open and other gas appliances in the house are good, so I'm not sure why the hot water tank regulator pooped out. I plan to give it another try this evening when the attic cools off, then I'll call a plumber to replace it. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

Howdy! I haven't owned any of the Triumph bikes, so I can't give any educated opinions. I've heard that the older models (pre-EFI) were a bit maintenance intensive. The newer engine designs are reportedly as reliable as any other modern bikes. I really like the T100 and T120... maybe I'll add one to the stable someday. 🤔 --QM

The Spark did in fact have an EV version before the Bolt existed. It had a VERY small battery, 20kwh, same as the zero bikes, and had about the same range of 100-ish miles. The cars were an absolute hoot, GM put BEEFY controllers on the first few years with very little traction control, so you could light up the tires on the little thing.
@QuasiMotard

I read that somewhere... the original Spark EV and the Bolt (gen 1) were a HOOT to drive because you could gumball the tires with a mere thought or twitch of the pedal. I might snag one if I ever find a good deal on one. 😉👍 --QM

Howdy! Those winglets are included with the MadStad adjustable windscreen kit: madstad.com/products/honda-cb500x-2013-up Coincidentally, I ordered these winglets separately BEFORE purchasing the MadStad kit several years ago. I had a Givi windscreen, but it was terrible and the cockpit was complete turbulence. I thought these deflectors might help, but they weren't matched well with that windscreen. So, I ordered the full MadStad kit... and WOW... what a difference! If you decide to order the full kit, or just the winglets, ask for Blair at MadStad. He's a great guy, and he'll get you sorted with the right pieces. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

The gauge overlay is generated using a third-party program called Telemetry Overlay: goprotelemetryextractor.com/ I stitch everything together with Adobe Premiere Pro to create the final videos. That’s pretty weird if your neighbors are the kind of people that would send you a nasty letter for putting an air-conditioning unit in your own window. They are very shitty neighbors and I’m sorry for you. I mean, if I had a neighbor that didn’t like me having air conditioning in my house, I would completely ignore them and if they actually talk to me about it depending on my mood, I could be rude, but I would at least have to tell him it’s none of their damn business and if they continue to be a butt hole, I would just have to tell them to go the coitus with themselves because I thought we lived in America and air-conditioning units are the thing and we have the right to use them otherwise why did they sell them?
