I’m 36, had one serious relationship in my life that ended after a month and I never had him over to my house. Maybe it’s my age, how I was raised, or moving out at 18 and living alone ever since, and LOVE living alone, always have, but I will never grasp how people just move in with people fairly quick or dislike living alone. But, hey live your life and do your thing! Love your content regardless, and I don’t frequent social media minus twice a week for about an hour so I had zero clue what had happened with the living thing. Give living solo a chance, trust, you’ll never want to give that independence up, even for a dishwasher or in unit laundry. Also as someone who’s parents died suddenly, four months apart in 2021, grief is very much a personal process, some days you move along like nothing ever happened, others you’re an absolute mess, some you see/hear/smell something that triggers a memory and up until that second you were okay, and then … you’re not. It’s rough, I’m two years out from their passing and EVERY DAY, hurts, every thing hurts, every memory hurts, every everything in between, hurts. Hang in there. Hold onto those you still have, I’ve got no one and I’d give anything to have someone family wise to lean into.
