Climbing the stairway to the top of Anjaneya Hill to pay respect at the Vyasarayara Matha temple, going out on the rocks one can meet Lord Hanuman (probably will, in fact, since simply being there will tune you to his presence, so you just need to open up - that's how powerful a place it is). Remember to bring a little rice from the bhiksha hall to offer the roving macaques. Opposite the stairway you climbed up, there's a second staircase going down the other side of the hill to ground level. Walking this way, one comes upon a small temple for Lord Shiva and a trail that takes you around the hill past a waterflow, and back to where the entrance to the main staircase is. It's a hot, narrow climb with dense traffic going both up and down at the same time. It's steep and sundrenched even with the shadings put up. So go early in themorning and be accepting to rest and take it easy going up.
