I liked the videos long. It like a movie. Could you release the long ones after the 45 mins ones? I watched all the other ones from 2021. It's like being on an adventure when it's more than hour long. Anyways, it's okay we will definitely watch whatever you put out. You have 2 yrs to edit the videos. I mean the next one is in 2025, you got time. We like your VLOGS, very entertaining.

Wow QM, 102 degrees in the shade in Texas!!! You definitely deserve a nice Ice Cold Frosty One 🍺 after being out there with your riding gear on in that heat & humidity!! Time to kick back and chill for a while. Excellent video, thanks! 👍🏾

changing the intake on your truck is easy. if you get one it can be changed in a few hours. most times it takes longer to clean it up than to change it.and i'm willing to help you.

I used to spend the summers in Houston (teen yrs) w/aunt & uncle and ElCampo w/cousin. Those experiences made the decision for me not to move there later in life. The weather is absolutely horrible. Unbearable heat, massive storms or floods 320 out of 365 days a year. 😂🤣

Quasi. I pulled a rear bearing off of an old Honda and it had a broken retainer ring. It had a crunchy sound to it.

What do you think about the new Honda SCL500 Scrambler? I could see you getting one. Saddle looks like you could ride for hours. Texas drivers are a surly bunch, aren't they? Do they even look where they're going?

You talked about a warehouse tour for weeks and what happened to that, eh?
@QuasiMotard Жыл бұрын
Howdy, Paul! I know, I know... the garage/warehouse project is still waiting. I'm avoiding the warehouse like the plague until this Houston heat wave dies down. My warehouse isn't climate-controlled, so it's brutal there in the daytime... over 105F ambient most of the time. 🔥😰 --QM

Just wondering why you picked the PCX150 over the 300 faster scoots. I'm trying to pick from pcx150 or xmax 300 thanks.
@QuasiMotard Жыл бұрын
I originally purchased the PCX150 as a birthday gift for my wife, but she never took to riding. I kept it for local commuting and also with the intention of riding it in the 2016/2018 Scooter Cannonball Run. The Cannonball has a displacement limit of 279cc, so the Yamaha XMAX 300 doesn't qualify at 292cc. I have several other motorcycles and scooters, including a Honda SilverWing 600. I haven't ridden the SilverWing in several years due to maintenance issues, but that's on my to-do list. I've been hoping that Honda will bring the new ADV350 to the USA, but it's not likely to happen. The XMAX is my next choice for a competent middleweight scooter. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

Hey Quasi, what are your thoughts about that new Honda XR150L?
@QuasiMotard Жыл бұрын
Howdy, Tony! I'm still planning to add the XR150L to my stable in the near future. I had planned for another "first in Texas" video for that, but money and timing didn't work out due to my Cannonball Run trip. I'm interested in the XR150L for its obvious low price, but also as an entry-level ADV bike. I have a 2008 Yamaha XT250 and a 2004 Honda CRF150L (both carbureted), so I'm eager to do a head-to-head comparison video series with those machines. I need to convince a couple of riding buddies to hit the trails with me and swap back and forth to compare the bikes in identical circumstances. Ride 'em, break 'em, and put 'em through the paces to see how they stack up. I can almost guarantee that the XT250 is the best on-road bike, the CRF150 is the best dirt bike (duh), and the XR150 will be the most efficient of the bunch. We'll see! 😉👍 --QM

@@QuasiMotard yeah, i feel like Honda took the proper “cost cutting” whilst still being Honda quality. If that makes sense. Almost like, it’s a “light adventure” approach not meant to be taken seriously adventuring, but will do in a pinch. Can’t wait to see the video!

First of all I enjoyed watching your videos. I've been binge watching them. I'm curious what the name of that mirror. On your windscreen is called. And how is it attached .
@QuasiMotard Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and leaving feedback! That's the RiderScan Blindspot Mirror: amzn.to/3nJjXLp . If that one is out of stock, you can find several cheaper knock-offs that also seem to work. You can search Amazon or Ebay for "parabolic blindspot mirror" to find alternatives. It attaches to the windshield with VERY sticky 3M VHB tape. I haven't had one fall off or detach yet, and I've been using these for nearly 10 years. This mirror definitely helps situational awareness in traffic. There is a learning curve to use it properly because the mirror's convex shape distorts the image, but it becomes second nature after a few hours of riding. It's very rare for me to be caught off-guard with a cager hiding in my blind spot while riding with one of these mirrors. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

How many miles on your pcx? Just curious. I have a 2015 end i love it.
@QuasiMotard Жыл бұрын
My 2015 PCX150 has a little over 15K miles on it now. I started the Cannonball ride with about 9600, so the trip added another 6K in just over two weeks. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
