The 30th anniversary Goldwing is 2005 1800! Seat height is 29.1” weighs 919 lbs! It’s a good ride!

Agreed! It seems like all of the chain restaurants have gotten lazy. Their food quality has gone downhill, the portions have gotten smaller, and the customer service is nearly non-existent. I'd much rather support the locally-owned businesses. The best food is always found at the little mom & pop restaurants in small towns. I love finding little hole-in-the-wall diners on my road trips. 😉👍 --QM

The 30th Anniversary GoldWing is 1800cc and does have electric reverse. I had a 2012 Goldwing with Nav. The electric reverse is essential. Wet weight is around 900 pounds.

my rear brakes came apart on my new ADV and it tore my rear hub up on it. and they had all the parts in stock for it. it took them about 2 hours to fix it but now it squeaks so bad and loud its going back next week if it don't stop by the weekend. and i lost them on AK 23 one bad road but i loved it.

@@QuasiMotard yea honda covered it me and neil adjusted it out like 3 times and i guess that was as the pads came apart. but i was on AR 23 one bad ass road. when it first happened. i went up that way from home just to ride that road. and i will tell you that road is not a just front brake only road.

What's the point of them even selling the tires that are smaller than 15 inches if they won't install them? That's literally the whole point of a tire place because if you wanted to just buy the tire you could go literally anywhere else or order online and get them to your house. If you look on their website for the tire installation it does say they won't install smaller than 15" so looks like a place to avoid and they can lose all those sales for the smaller stuff.

Howdy, Robert, and thanks for the feedback! I've been very tempted by the XMAX 300, but I'm holding out to see if Honda decides to bring the ADV350 to the States. If that doesn't happen soon (next year or two), then I'll probably get the XMAX. I'd love to have a 300cc-class scoot for a do-it-all runabout. They have plenty of steam for running highway speeds, but they're still reasonably frugal and efficient. I considered buying the ADV160 to ride in the 2025 Scooter Cannonball, but I'll probably be riding my PCX150 again. Neil already has it with him in Louisiana, and he's doing his Mad Max fabrication treatment on it... more bars, mounts, highway pegs, auxiliary fuel tank, etc. I can't wait to see what he does to it! Howdy, neighbor! These mirrors are fantastic. I have the original RiderScan mirror, but there are several generic brands available on Amazon and Ebay. I've had great luck with these over the past 10+ years. They always stay glued to the windscreen, and I haven't had any problem with the finish flaking off. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

Unfortunately, scooters aren't big sellers here in the USA, so Honda stopped importing their maxi-scoots here in 2013 (2016 for the Forza 300). The Honda SilverWing 400 (FSC400/FJS400) and 600 (FSC600/FJS600/T600-GT) were very popular in Europe and other parts of the world, so they saw a couple of additional updates for a few more years. Honda abandoned the SilverWing completely (as far as I know) around 2016 and focused more on their Forza lineup in Europe. The SilverWing was mostly replaced by the Integra, which was based on the NC700X platform but in a scooter layout. I wanted one of those like CRAZY, but neither the Forza lineup nor the Integra have come Stateside. Honda had trouble selling leftover 2013 SilverWing 600's up to as late as C-19 hit in 2019. The 2016 Forza 300 was also a poor mover with units sitting on showroom floors until 2022+. I hope that Honda reconsiders the USA market for their new ADV350 (Forza 350). Yamaha and Suzuki have middleweight scooters, but I'm a Honda fan! Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

I'm a fan of the modular (flip-up) style helmets because of the convenience factor in everyday riding. My favorite helmets over the past 5+ years have been the Schuberth C3 Pro and the C5, and also the SHOEI NeoTec 2. I have other helmets for ADV/off-road and track use, but my daily lid right now is the NeoTec 2. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

Nope... this is 10G fiber service, so the modem is very specific (Nokia), and it's configured/maintained by the provider. 😒 --QM

@@QuasiMotard Well that sucks. I kept on having problems with my rental modems so i just bought my own..... Then it took me months to get them to stop charging me a rental fee.
