I’m from Dallas born and raised. It’s a big difference between Dallas and Houston. Not being bias but to me Dallas is more for family and a little safer. Houston has always been the place where you love the party scene and if you are maybe single or have no kids. That’s when I had my best fun. However, Dallas has a lot of nice suburbs and we have a lot of nice restaurants, shopping and family activities. Most are probably 15-30 min outside Dallas. We will welcome you ❤btw I’m a 40 yr old mother of 2 toddlers and a wife and you motivate me to be better.

Girl i feel your heart...my parents lived around the corner and had a church two houses down from my house and never even came to see me or my kids...never got them gifts but was all in the lives of my brothers kids..my sis lived in the same neighborhood and never came to see me...shes never even met my daughter and my daughter is 5 now so we moved closer to my inlaws cause they saw my kids every weekend, but now 2024 they let their family members get in their heads for being close to black children but it wasnt a problem when they were young and looked white...now that they are getting older and looking more like their mama with the finest shade of color nobody want to have us around. And they across the street! So long story short...we moving to another state.

Houston transplant originally from NY. BK all day. Anyway, I felt the same way in my late 30’s and we relocated to Houston suburb in 2007. Rented for 7 months and bought a home at the time the housing crisis began. Katy is nice but I10 is a nightmare all the time. Take a year to pray and decide. Houston is not as affordable as it was when we first moved. Housing has also increased. Good luck on your final decision.

I've been here about a year just enjoying your beautiful family. I don't often comment but I had to say something. Have you tried telling your mom how you feel? I would start there. I know as black people we don't like to talk about things but give it a try. I also think when things didn't work out with the first house, maybe that was God trying to tell you something. This vlog has so much to take in first I would like to say the family looked very happy and beautiful on Christmas Eve and Christmas day it was a joy to see how much love and happiness that was in the video.... Secondly happy birthday Kayden... I just also would like to say thank you for being open with your journey in life that is one of the reasons why I really love this channel I'm so happy to hear that you're coming to Houston this is where I reside I can say you will have to get ready for traffic and you have to have a lot of patience it's a much bigger city of course and is going to be a lot of changes for you guys because I weather is very bipolar add summers are hell Bud on a positive note with the type of family you guys are you you like to stay active and it's definitely endless things to do an endless events the rent might be cheaper I do know here is cheaper than most cities and states but we are going up find groceries and rent and things like that but it is a lot of opportunities out here also I think you should take your time with the move as much as I can wait for you to get here so that I can meet you lol I think that you should take your time let God move you and do everything with patience and it'll all work out I know that you love the home that you're in and you were so grateful and thankful for this home and it's a beautiful home but I definitely understand when you're ready to make changes and it's just that time but still says you've already made such a big step in your life with this home I think you should take your time with the next move even though you're ready to move now just take your time and it will all work out I will continue to pray for you and your family and pray that God leads you give me the directions that's in his will amen.... And lastly you said Katie which I figured that would be somewhat of an area that you and your family would like to stay in but also try Kingwood, Webster tx in League City, Cypress tx all the ones I named are really good areas.... Please have your realtor look into these areas also if you do decide to one day buy a home here in Houston please look into toll Brothers builders beautiful homes and you might can find a toll Brothers home to rent down here which they have beautiful floor plans well Happy New Year can't wait to see where the E-Gang headed

Hey silent E-gang member until now!! Merry belated Christmas, Happy Birthday Kaden🥰🎉🎁 Native Houstonian here 🙋🏽‍♀️ I absolutely loveeee my hometown! I am currently in Pearland, a lil city right outside Houston. That Katy freeway traffic may make you regret moving to the Katy area. My sister lives in Katy and it takes me more than an hour to get to her from Pearland. There’s traffic everywhere but I had to let you know! If you consider moving to the Woodlands or Kingwood areas, you’ll see that those towns are too far from downtown and major freeways. If you live in a bubble and never go anywhere outside of those areas you’ll be good! I love the Pearland area (the cops will annoy you though). Sugarland is a good area too! Also check out the Manvel and Rosharon areas too! If you want to know more let me know. I just had a major emergency surgery a week before Christmas and I’ll be down for another 6 weeks🥺😩 I wish that I could see you while you’re here but I’m on the “sick and shut in” list right now. Praying and wishing nothing but the absolute best to you, brother boo and your Eboni babies🥰 If you decide to move to Houston… yayyyyy!! You’ll give me a reason to go outside🎉🩷🥳

If you reconsider renting your home, renting to a military service family who is responsible and are stationed for a limited time.
