when you said time flies.. i felt that. i lost my daughter 2 years ago and i still can’t believe that’s it’s been that long already. it feels like just yesterday. i completely relate to that anxious feeling and that feeling of never truly being “ok”. it’s gets better but grief is still grief and that shit gets rough at times, no matter how long it’s been. i hate so bad when people say i’m “dealing with it well” or “i’m so strong”just because they see me smiling or having fun. i’m just searching for some normalcy but i am still very much broken. even though we didn’t know you all personally, we all could tell that you and your grandpa were best friends. i pray for some peace of mind for you and your family. glad you’re not letting anybody tell you what your grief should look like and taking your time. although we love seeing you all the time, we will be just fine. take care of you girl

Yes and at times I felt guilty for even just smiling or being happy. I went through so many thoughts, emotions, I still do. Its such a crazy rollercoaster but my grief is my grief and I want people to know its okay to have their own as well, it'll never look or feel like anyone else's! ❤️

I truly know how it is to lose a grandparent that’s like your best friend. My GMA passed in 2015 and I still find myself wanting to call her to tell her things. It’s the hardest now that I’ve gotten married recently and just had a baby in April. I miss her so much! Praying for your peace 🩶🩶

I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for your transparency. You did not have to share these emotions! We really appreciate it a lot, as your supporters. This is what it feels like to have a true bond with your supporters. I just lost my nana a little over a month ago and I honestly do not know how I feel. It is a different feeling every single day. This video helped me a lot mentally. I’m so sorry you experienced this. I never had a relationship with either of my grandpas but I definitely did with my grandma. It still hurts. We found out she had cancer march 24. She died April 10. So she suffered a long time before going to the hospital and us finding out. And April 10 is also my wedding anniversary so it sucks. My mom hasn’t been the same since and it’s been 11 years.

Hi, the Lord is your strength. He will uphold you and comfortnyour family. Grieve how you want to. The important thing is to remember he is with the Lord. He can see n hear you. So intentionally remember the good times with him when you can. Its very soon for you to be even nearly okay. Take your time, we will be with you always. I lost my sister 7 years ago and I still hurt and regret that I lost it for years. My kids pulled me out cos they needed their mum but it changed me, I went too deep and lost my joy for years, was on robotic mode and cut everyone off. Looking back now, I wish I had known to think of the good times with her cos I lot years grieving. Love on yourself cos that is what he will want. You are allowed to be sad sometimes. We understand.

Kaila I’m so sorry about your loss of your grandfather. I know how you feel. I lost my Dad in April of this year and it’s been 7 months now and it still feels like it is just not real and I’m in a bad dream. My Dad was my world and the pain is unbearable at times but just know it will get better. Take it one day at a time and don’t push yourself or try to rush it. You have your memories and he will forever be in your heart. God will see you through this so pray all through out your day ok. So sorry for you loss Kalia 💜🙏🏽 it's definitely going to take time adjusting to new normal. My Nana passed in 2019 it hit me so hard. My lil concern bell went off too when you mentioned your exhaustion & body aches. Whenever you feel you need to be sure to mention with you doctor. Not trying to diagnosis, but it sounded relatable just that I share, but look into fibromyalgia & chronic fatigue with you doctor. A lot of times traumatic experiences can trigger both of these illnesses. I was diagnosed with both in 2017. And by the time my Nana passed my health gotten worse, then in Feb 2020, just before pandemic hit. I was officially dx'ed with major depression & anxiety. Even though mine was triggered differently, there are many cases where the triggers are caused by other forms of trauma responses our bodies well legit feel the emotional pain develop and it's stored up turning into real physical pain. So I pray the Lord will continue to help you and your family through your families loss. And that will continue to be gentle with yourself and take all the self care me times that you need. The last thing you need is the thought of any KZbin stress adding to your pain in anyway. Take care of you first! ~Gigi 💜

Kaila, it’s so nice to see you! When I noticed you hadn’t posted in a while my thoughts immediately went to your family and your Poppy. I prayed for you all and still do. Grief is hard, and I don’t think it ever goes away completely but I’ve found it has gotten more manageable with time for me. I’m truly smiling listening to you tell the CVS rewards story.
