A man i was dating asked to take a step back. I said ok. A few hours later he tried to text me. I told him he doesn't have access to me during this time, and he should stand on his word. Four days after that he text me asking did I want something I left in his car. I told him to throw it away. A month after that he sent flowers to my house on Mother's Day, we dont have children together. However, during the month I walked away, I realized I wanted more than he has to offer. I loved him and thought about him every day during that time, but that time was valuable for me to reflect.

@ice water He tried to make me jealous by posting something that appears to be him on a date. He showed him buying 2 drinks. I thought it was pathetic. Again, walking away allowed me to view the situation objectively. I require a mature man that doesn't play games. Walking away or no contact should not be a desperate attempt to win an Ex back. It is a time to invest in yourself. Trust me, it was very hard walking away from someone I love. However, I love myself too much to chase after someone that is not sure about me. I'm always going to bet on me!

After how much time should we demand committment when dating a guy?
@tatina3 Жыл бұрын
@sabajahangir1588 don't demand it. Discuss commitment with him and what it means to you both, tell him where you would like for your relationship to go and what you would like for your future in general (marriage, children, etc.), then listen to his side, and if the two don't match and there is no room for compromise, release each other. Demanding won't get you anywhere, it's counterproductive and sets a very bad tone for the relationship as a whole.

Married to my husband for 30 years, five children together. He left us in 2020 and moved away into his own apartment living the single life. We never heard from him again until January of 2024. He had a heart attack and wanted to reconcile our marriage. After trying to reconcile with him, he kept bringing up the other women he dated while we were apart. It turns out he was with my sister, several women from his apartment complex, escorts, and tons of sexting escapades. Trust me, I am trying but deep down in my heart I just cannot stomach the grossness of his actions. While he was gone for those three years, I worked on myself and do not look or act the same at all. I have not been with anyone since because in my heart, I needed to stay faithful to my husband. My sex drive has skyrocketed and I became a very confident woman. He knows this and has been begging for my forgiveness. I just cannot allow him to come into my life to rip it apart again.

Ladies Ima be honest…take what these dating coaches say with a grain of salt. I’m so confused as to how his love story is “beautiful”…a good woman took a chance on a serial cheater and he told her he didn’t wanna marry her..only to change his mind when he realized that she can pull a “high value” man. Dating men involves so much mental gymnastics….why can’t i love you 100% without you getting weirded out. The more i talk to married women..and single women the more i don’t see men as worth it. When you ask men why they are bitter towards women it’s always something around money or the woman having emotions and asking them to have accountability. Weeding out a gold digger is not rocket science…men are willfully ignorant cuz they want that chase and subconsciously desire women who don’t want him. If Blakes wife remained single…he would have never wanted her back but because he saw the caliber of man she can pull…now she’s a queen. Men care more about the opinion and values of other men than what woman is best for them

Chasing a woman versus Pursuing a woman. When he highlighted the difference, it really resonated with me. It's funny I've focused more energy on toxic situations with a guy that was chasing and it devolved into a game of tom and jerry...And yet there is one guy who has been pursuing me in a very calm and soft manner. And this has me really trying to focus on my own healing and learning what is the right type of attention for me. The right person comes on time, not before nor after.

Giving the same energy that you're getting is key and if you don't like that energy then move on. It can be hard but that's when you need to choose yourself over the damn illusion/fantasy. A man who loves a woman will not ignore her, ever, period. So... If he ignores me I will step back and he will lose me. Simple. Simple. Non-dramatic and uncomplicated. I don’t, under any circumstance: play these childish-abusive-controlling mind games. I will only be with a man who values and appreciates me, and treats me as the Queen, I AM. (Daughter of the Most Hight; King of kings!) Because I am a beautiful and kind and divine and sexy and wise and intelligent and magical woman: who knows my worth. Period.

Cool video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her

*It's crucial to recognize our worth and not chase after someone who isn't serious. Let's invest our energy in those who reciprocate our feelings and efforts. Here's to respecting ourselves and attracting the love we deserve.*

We as women have all been hurt in some way. I desire to be married and loved correctly! We must take the time to heal correctly and allow God to remove and fill any void that in within. Also our words are conduits to what we sow into our life. If that’s all you say that you’re not going to find love and there is no love for you. That is exactly what you get.. Let’s use our words and thoughts wisely! They are so expensive!💕

I love this, you are 💯 percent correct, life and death is in the power, of the tongue. Everything isn't like a microwave oven, so I believe if one look at self, and began to know their value, and their worth, they'll then begin to attract, what God has for you then, because everything that trys to attach itself too you too fast, isn't always good for you. That's when discernment should comes in. It's always signs we just don't pick up on them, or we avoid them. That's when we get hurt. ( Perception) is off. Thanks for sharing.😊

Miss Monica I agree with you, and this is the best thing, I feel that I had feelings for a guy and the problem is communicating. And he doesn't realize that a good woman standing under his nose. Like a said someone will snatched her from beneath him..when you walk away from him, He's the loser, I'm the winner. Cause he had a good woman that really loves ❤️ him. Now he's the pitiful one. Don't pass up the good ones, for the bad ones.

It's always the way. Most men are broken and it's like they don't want to be happy

Don’t try this at home folks. He got lucky that Lisa and God have him another chance. Most people (man or woman) wouldn’t go back to someone who rejected commitment with them, especially if they were with a millionaire who MIGHT have given them what they wanted. Funny how things look “shinier” when someone else wants it. It’s a dangerous game to play that many lose.

This has been unbelievably hard but not for the same reasons. After 27 years of marriage with an abusive Narcissist I've found myself alone. He finally broke me (which I unwittingly allowed.) And he secretly moved onto another woman. One day my world was turned upside down after discovering this. I do NOT want him back. But the long connection between us leaves me so vulnerable and desperate on occasion. Not desperate to have him back but desperate to know I'm still valuable. When in truth, I know I was always valuable & he still doesn't deserve me. I've grown more in a few months than the last decade. I just NEED to let go of my desire to feel valid to this man.

Gosh I hurt for you sis! From my understanding a person like that will never give you what u deserve! You know u are valuable and just remember it’s not you. It’s him, I know it sounds crazy but he knows I are valuable , that is why he treated you the way you did to make u think you weren’t! You were his bait he knows he isn’t valuable!! You will be waiting until death to receive that validation from him. I went through something a little similar and still trying to pin point when someone is a narci! I always wanted validation from him and he came to someone that wasn’t broken and knew I was able to validate myself. I wanted it from him and know till this day, I will never get it! They are beneath us’ I hope this helps and hope it makes sense!

Your story is an excellent example of why women should abandon ship ASAP when there's a red flag (instead of ignoring said red flag). It sounds like a sunk cost fallacy. You put nearly three decades into a person, so you're trying to get some return on your investment even though he couldn't care less about you. Sounds like he shouldn't have even gotten three months.

This really hit home because I’ve been in this type of relationship for years, no commitment just allowing him to keep coming back and God has sent several Bentley’s and I keep letting the station wagon sit in the driveway. Thank you for this video.
