How To Stop Binge Eating & Eat to Live For Good

Welcome to another two days in my life as I navigate my weight loss and healthy eating journey! We talk about my martial arts journey, how I deal w the scale, and how I plan my foods for the day.

🍎🍏 Warm Apple Cinnamon Smoothie Full Recipe 🍎🍏
SERVES 1
INGREDIENTS
1 cup water (+ extra as needed)
2 Tablespoons dry oatmeal
4 ounces romaine lettuce (about 1 heart or 7-8 cups, loosely packed)
2 stalks of kale, stems removed and discarded OR 3 cups baby spinach
1 + ½ sweet apple, rough chopped
1 ripe banana
2 tablespoons raw, unsalted walnuts
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
1 medjool date - no pit (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Place all ingredients into a high-powered blender and blend until smooth. If you don’t have a high-speed blender, you can warm this gently in the microwave or over a stove.

Also struggling with weight loss after breast cancer treatment. My osteopenia is also in my hip. I am doing yoga, Pilates, and walking. But I want to get to a point where I can weight train. Not quite sure how that will work with the lymphedema in my right arm from surgery but we’ll see 😊. Thank you for sharing your journey

Thank you for making this! I've been truly wanting to dive into this lifestyle... but it seems so complicated. We have three kiddos with a fourth on the way. The recipes, etc. from FOK and the like seem to take so long to make. Any ideas/suggestions?

Hi friends!! Congrats on the kiddos!! I say just dive in. There are so many ways to make this easier, and watch my vlogs coming up. You'll see how I'm doing it. First advice, just start and don't worry about any of the "rules". It's super easy to make quick wraps, quick salads, easy dressings etc. The hardest part is getting over our mindset that it has to be perfect. It does not! :D xo

Nice to see you back, the martial arts and weight training, will build muscle. So the scale may not move if you are building muscle. How do your clothes fill?

I’ve been skinny my whole life (under 125) and since taking Tamoxifen starting last June, I’ve gained almost 20 lbs. it’s very very discouraging. My joints are very sore too.

I've been following Dr. Fuhrman since around 2016, and you not long after. I still am confused on what he says about metabolism. He says you don't want to have a fast metabolism, but yet we need to speed up our metabolism to lose weight. What am I missing?

Yay! So glad you're still here. Yeah, I know that's confusing. I don't really understand it all either, but I do know that I am starting to lose some weight now and I know it's not from the weight training, so stay tuned!

Have you ever poured hot vegetables over your salad, it changes it up. The nuts and ground flaxseeds thicken the salad up and give it a great flavor. Of course I dribble braggs aminos on my salad so maybe that's why I like the taste do much.

Ohhhh yeah!!! I call those Hot and Cold salads!!! :D I used to do Bragg's a lot, but I don't anymore, that's why it's been harder to eat my salads :D haha

Hi beautiful, I get the working on getting to your goal and the Mindset it the most important tool you have. As a CCHT and helping many women get their subconscious working for them. @@HowToStopBingeEatingAndETL Clinical Hypnotherapist and by finding the root cause of what’s keeping you stuck in an eating pattern and there’s 7 of them, once you find the root cause you can then change it. No dieting needed ever again. I teach women how to use their own power to set themselves free of their weight problems.

Soooo today for instance I'm having a "fruit salad" which is a huge bed of lettuce, with fresh blueberries, chopped apple, grated carrot, quinoa, and then I made poached pears the other day with coconut sugar. So I've got 1.25 of those on there too, chopped. My dressing is going to be almond butter with balsamic mixed in.
