Teacher here as well. I thought I was going to lose my mind during the Spring. I found that working from home was not for me and my mental space. I work from my school building and that has helped my mood and my teaching. And you are not alone. But know that you're valued and you are doing enough. Deep breaths and positive vibes.

I feel like I’m just not that good of a teacher online. But we are probably going to be doing it for the rest of the school year so all we can do is just try our best

I commented on your Instagram and here I am again lol I feel like this is a general feeling for all the teachers, today I'm really down because this online thing makes me feel like a terrible teacher, I can't do a lot of un things especially because I m ESL teacher so ... hard times! I would love to see about your meals like eating healthy - or not and also the reset routine for teachers! The December thing please do it, I would love to watch! I'm from Brazil so I think the planning time is very different so I would love to see that when/how do you organize to plan your classes!

Middle school teacher from Austria here. Do you have any youtube channel recommendations that my 13-year-old students might enjoy watching? I want them to improve their listening skills while watching fun channels.. vlogs, etc. are absolutely fine, the videos don't have to be "educational".

Last 7 months i'm taking my classes virtually & frankly speaking i don't like to teach my student virtually bcz lots of things i need to do make them understand which is very hard & main problem is network & sound problem. By the by how r u feeling now.

I admire your creativity when it comes to teaching foundational skills. Have you thought about designing a baseball home plate and writing the base word inside it? You could draw lines on each corner so that they could add prefixes or suffixes to the base word. Brain Pop Jr., also has great videos, and they have captions available. Although the digital realm has many resources, you still do miss that three dimensional aspect of being in the classroom with the students. Just remember to give yourself grace when things get rough or challenging. Take care and thank you for your presentation.

What kids in 2nd grade want to do social studies?!? All the kids that were in my class absolutely hated it. You have to do a good job to engage them and make them listen. I guess it’s possible that our Canadian curriculum is just really boring! Lmao! Great vid btw! Remember, times are hard and if your struggling, always remember that things will be better soon.
