I'm living in Canada for over 37 years now. I can tell you I feel the same as Theresa. Came to Canada when I was 16, lived in a small town in Ontario. Not paying much attention to what happened in Hong Kong until 2019. I felt guilty as well. But now I'm in the Toronto area, I'm watching every news from HK, especially news from KZbin. Telling everyone what happened in HK last few years. Helping newcomers to adjust and settle their new life in Canada. Never too late to get involve and help, never too late to tell others about what happen in Hong Kong. BTW, great interview!!! Very good job!!

It's never too late to make a difference! We have our parts to do as always! Fighting!
@@michaellam6050 There are home cleaning, farm caring, and landscape services available. I even give up my lawn mower and just put my time on fruit and veggie planting.
Thank you so much. You live in the UK for so long and you still care about Hong Kong. I really respect you and thank you very very much. Hong Kong people are helpless and now are all desperate. Your words mean a lot to us knowing that HKers from around the globe are standing with us. Please stay safe and we will see the hope in the future!
I really enjoy this Vlog. Their house is a typical UK house. It's interesting to see their home, and particularly their big garden. I admire them for being able to grow varieties of different vegetables that they can cook for food. I am glad that Therese still have a concern about Hongkong after she has been living in the UK for many years and she is trying to help Hongkongers who recently moved to UK.
Theresa moved to UK for 50 years, her Cantonese is still very good. So amazing! Thank you for her concern and trying to do what she can do.

Therea and her husband are really nice and a have a good heart ❤️ for people especially for the Hongkong immigrant people ! Theresa 真的本着亙人為快樂之本!非常欣賞佢兩夫婦嘅做法! 祝他們倆身體健康,生活快樂!
This is by far your best interview. You asked her: "你用過一個字係GUILTY, 點解呢?" That question really hit hard on me and her reply was so touching that brought tears.

I found this documentary about Teresa and Richard layered and interesting on several levels. It shows the beauty and tranquility of rural life in a prosperous area of the UK but how this isn't always straight forward for bi-racial/bi-cultural couples. As well as Teresa describing her pain in witnessing the frightening changes being wrought in Hong Kong, Richard admits that colonial attitudes still linger among some of Britain's older population. His comment on usage of the word 'gay' having altered in just a few decades illustrates how language evolves as rapidly as lifestyles and expectations in today's ever changing world.
Wherever u guys are, live your life to the fullest. 香港人加油!

Wish I can meet Theresa in person, she’s really a wise lady and have a kind heart , and wow her garden’s really lovely, I totally agree with what her hubby says , some immigrants don’t bother to help HK new immigrants after all these years yet Theresa has a big heart to help out the younger immigrants, and her husband is so understanding and feel proud of her ! Kind people, nice scenery, warm and inspiring talk , really love this interview!
