Exactly 😅mine take maybe 2-hrs and that's with a wash and repairing some slippage. Ol girl got a whole new set 😮.

That’s the first time I heard of retie taking this long as well. Im about to reconsider again lol I thought only the initial process takes up to 10 hours or more with micro locs.

@@ashleycbla aww don’t reconsider. I think it took a long time for her bc like she said she has a lot of slippage plus her hair texture is softer. If you have 4c or a rougher texture you should be good. 2 hrs the most you should take you for reties

Omg I try to tread lightly when talking about wigs bc based on history black women always hot flack for how they choose to wear their hair and that’s not fair but wearing a wig is starting to seem a little crazy to me. Like when the wig and weave is good, it’s GOOD. But the women who use weave and wigs to hide their hair insecurities, if makes me sad. SOME women don’t even feel attractive without their wig on. They feel ugly with the hair that comes out of their head. It makes me so sad society did this to us smh. But we must take control of our own lives. You don’t need society’s permission to love yourself unapologetically. I’m not speaking about the women who don’t have issues with their hair and just wear wigs and weaves as protective styles and self expression w out the hair damage. Our hair is so unique and beautiful. Imagine if our hair was the beauty standard? Close to no one would be wearing wigs. We’d still have intricate styles where we’d add braiding hair, I’m sure. But a wig with somebody else’s hair on there? No.
