Hi Brittany! Loved the vlog as always❤️ regarding the running gear I would suggest you just use whatever jacket you already own and put one of those neon reflective vests on top. Granted, it’s not the most fashionable option but they are the most visible in the night. Hope this helps💕

Just wanted to chime in to say that melatonin is a sleep regulator, not a sleep aid, so it's great for specific instances of sleep dysregulation like jet lag, but for me, when I used it for sleep anxiety, it actually made it worse. I would fall asleep right away and then wake up 45 minutes later in a near panic. This is pretty common experience with melatonin, I'm finding.

Sorry to comment on an old vlog but I think with the prevalence of social media, people prefer by far to see ‘normal’ people modelling clothes, than models who are, for most us, very different to how we look. Your style and ‘total look’ have revolutionised my idea of how I want to look. I am 46, tall and a size 18, yet you have still achieved the giddy heights of showing me a ‘more accurate’ version of how I wish to dress and look. cant tell you how happy i was to see this vlog and watch it! monday went super fast somehow and then it was dark and like you i hadn't processed the news from sat but then it suddenly hit me! then i read and kept hearing that probably there's a good chance we will be in lockdown until next year ...... i felt like everything just crumbled how the F are we here again lol i have to laugh so i don't go crazy! anyhoo your vlog saved my evening and my mood as always it was well put together even with missing parts haha i love the water and the swans it made me tear up seeing nature just be right now... i wanted to say how about buying some reflective strips to wear or stitch / iron on to a piece you already have or really like! have a lovely week and i hope someone brings you as much joy as your vlogs do to us :)

Leman Locke is going on my list of places to stay when we can travel again. I have a friend in school in London who is always asking me to visit, and that sort of nice, but basic, lodging is what I look for when I go somewhere and I know I'll barely be in the hotel. Also, art book and vintage furniture shopping is my idea of a perfect weekend.

Lockdown part 1 turned me into quite the bird watcher. I'm fortunate to have had a small wood near me and my camera roll was full of bird, swan, lake, and even puddle footage. Then a friend of mine who's a clinical psychologist told me of the benefits and healing effects of bird watching on mental health. Makes total sense now.

I usually wear a led vest in winter. It is lightweight and you can wear it over your regular running gear. Very visible! I ordered one from the brand rogelli, its called high reflect led vest.

Nike and some other brands have been selling some reflective vests for running that you can wear over your normal running clothing (e.g. Nike Vividstrike Run Vest)! Not as aesthetically pleasing, but lets you wear your normal gear. Other options: headlamps, reflective spray for your clothing, reflective bands/LED lights like you mentioned. Of note, try putting the latter on moving parts of your body, easier for drivers to see vs. static high vis clothing alone.

What a coincidence, I just picked up that book to help me get back into reading too! ( Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine) I tend to struggle with books getting slow and not wanting to pick them up at night, but I didn't have any trouble with this one. I didn't really know if it would live up to all the hype, but I was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable it ended up being. Hope you like it!

Try getting 5htp over melatonin, used to take it especially over winter. Definitely helped me with sleep and serotonin production which is very tough to produce during the winter :)

About your sleep concern, i recommend reading Why why sleep by Mathew Walker, a book i really enjoyed and found to be extremely informative. It is full of scientific explanations but without being overwhelming and it also has practical advice on how to improve sleep problems

I would recommend reflective high visibility harness for running. Also, interested to hear your opinion on the Eleanor Oliphant. I thought it was very grabbing, but also quite shallow in the way it suggested that deep childhood trauma can be fixed with make up and a haircut... 💇‍♀️ That is how I took it anyway. I love watching your videos in the morning on Monday/Tuesday as a soft start to the week.

CRAFT does bright yellow running jackets and vests that are not as expensive as the Brooks one. I have a Visibility Vest and it does the job. Reebok and Saucony do reflexive jackets as well. Also, have you tried taking magnesium before sleep? Thank you for another relatable vlog!

You could also swap your sweet night snacks for cinnamon coated cashews, as these nuts are naturally high in magnesium and cinnamon provides that sweetness too :) xxxx

As an american I absolutely love the different pronunciations of brand names between different countries that speak the same language. Another example is Nissan which americans pronounce as "Knee - saan" rather than "Niss - an" as they market as in the UK.
