I’ve been going to Disneyland since before I was even born and used to go every other week but now I go a few days during summer each year. I love seeing first timers, it’s like a baby discovering a mirror. I know every single inch of both parks. Also, I’d recommend starting at jungle cruise and working your way to splash mountain, then to big thunder, Star Wars, fantasyland, small world, toon town, Matterhorn, and space mountain. I always like to end the day on that. If I have more time, I’ll go to the tiki room, Indiana and/or pirates again.

Quick question, I'm a CA native and have been to Disneyland multiple times over the years and I thought that if you wanted to go to both Disneyland and California Adventure you needed to buy tickets for both parks separately. Am I wrong in making this assumption? Can you visit both parks if you only buy tickets for one of them? Thank you in advance and I hope my question makes sense.

Park Hopper lets you do both I believe

You have to buy a park ticket & then you can park hop over at 1pm to the other park! Or you can just do a One Park 2-day ticket! I think the One Day Park Hopper was perfect!

I know!!! The line was so long all day so we just didn't get around to it! I heard it's very similar to the one at Disneyland Paris that I went on in July so I didn't feel so bad missing it!
