The mums I met during my NCT classes have been absolutely invaluable to me and they are come of my closest friends now. I moved to a new city and didn't know anybody and my pregnancy was very isolating so meeting people through NCT SAVED me. However... I can honestly say I do not remember a single thing they taught us I'm pretty sure I day dreamed through every session

I always use reusable wax ear plugs every night because you can reuse them multiple times and they are so comfortable. Totally recommend boots ones.

I’ve had my pair of happy ears ear plugs for about six years now and they’re still going strong, I absolutely love them! Would struggle to sleep without them!

I sleep with ear plugs too and have been trying to find alternatives as well. I tried the happy ears one and found they didn’t dampen the noise quite enough, so use them on nights I’m less bothered by noise. I’ve been using Beary quiet ones instead now and they work great because you mould them to your ear (and not in the canal so very comfortable!) so are closer to the foam ones I used previously. Only complaint is that I don’t get as much wear from them as I’d like before I need to throw them away.

Jess, if you uploaded just 20 min of black screen during your maternity leave, I’d play every minute of it so you have some sort of income during that time and click and watch all the adds .
