If I had an older home with the same architecture I'd definitely do tray lighting (I assume builders would have to add structure to the ceiling for this). I work with 5* hotels in London and so many of them have this type of lighting as it creates an amazing ambience and now I’ve become obsessed with the idea of putting them in when I own a house!

Hello beautiful :) I don't want to dramatize, but the skin irritation on the eye lids and neck could be neurodermatitis. I had the same problem in summer for a couple of years and only Cortison Cremes would help, as long as I used them... Which sucks :/ and no doctor could tell me the cause.. in the end it all disappeared as suddenly as it came.. I think it was linked to emotional stress. Anyway, I hope you're skin will get better soon! Lots of love to you :*

Hey Jess I have the same thing going on with my eye, super itchy on the lid and very flakey textured skin...I’ve had it for the past year or so, I figured out it wasn’t makeup bc I haven’t worn makeup for months and I still have it I think it may be snail products (Cosrx) triggering some eczema? I’m not sure though

Just a heads up that unfortunately you can randomly develop allergies in your twenties, even to products your skin seemed to get on with, so I wouldn't rule anything out that could be affecting your eyes.

The poppy wars series includes some very gratuitous rape/violence descriptions at some point. I stopped reading after that.

it's shocking how much Chinese media contains trivialised/gratuitous rape :/ especially so, since in this case the author is a young woman who has grown up in the US. absolutely not saying it is only a problem of the Chinese culture but I've noticed it a lot, in comparison to other Asian media as well.
