What to do if your dog gets skunked! DO NOT GET THEM WET!! Water seals the skunk oil secretion into the hair follicle & your pet will smell for wks or even months. INSTEAD make a paste with baking soda & shampoo or dish soap.. Apply this mixture liberally onto your pet DRY & let it sit for about 30 mins, then it is okay to rinse. FUN FACT: Skunks can spray up to 10 ft & can spray as many as 6 times in a row!!!

our dog got skunked and it was the worst! If you leave bowls of vinegar it absorbs the odor in the house. I think we also left baking soda on furniture that could not be washed and it helped get the odor out of the house!

We have used this before I hope this might help y’all. 1/4 cup of baking soda 1-2 teaspoons of mild dishwashing detergent like ivory snow. 1 quart of 3% hydrogen peroxide solution Mix in a bucket and use immediately. Leave on dog for at least 5 minutes, rinse with warm water. Love your vlogs. 💕💕
