One word of warning about pulling the shoulders down. Check the slope of your collarbones. They should tilt up on the outer ends. Mine were horizontal which pulled on nerves in my neck, affecting balance. My PT told me to consciously hold my shoulders up until I could see the bones slant upward slightly. Can't recall if it was 15 or 35 degrees. Then hold that position ALL the time -- that is a workout, trying to retrain a lifetime of bad habits! But it opened up my chest so I could breathe deeper.

Dr Alan Mandell DC, just showed us that exact posture pose , standing against the wall last week. His KZbin channel and videos are Fantabulous !!!! He showed others stretches standing against the wall too. He is so helpful and needed in his information. Some are short, quick videos, others are a little longer, but great useful tips for everyone.....🌞

I did your avoid the neck hump video for quite some time, but have gotten away from it, as I have shoulder arthritis and one of the moves hurt so gotta find a workaround and get back to it.. My mom is soon to be 92 and her spine curvature is so severe it throws her balance off so you are right in trying to correct it now! Do you elevate your technology? Laptops, screens, etc? I bought stands for my husband as he works in front of a screen all day, and noticed his hunch forming as well as mine. Hunched over a phone is not good! Also love Bob and Brad's KZbin videos they address EVERYTHING physical therapy in a fun way, they are 2 PTs. Your determination action is inspiring, keep up your quest for aging strong and healthy!

I made the same discovery about my posture and have been doing basically the same exercises as you. If you spend a lot of time on the computer, you need to elevate the computer so that you are looking straight - not looking down. Amazon has devices for this. Have A Great Week.

The tap tap of Lucy's toes is telling you she needs a nail trim, Little nails can grow out so fast and push their little feet backwards, throwing them off balance. I give my dogs a little trim once a month, do it myself, and recommend the blade trimmers.

Same for me on catching myself with the posture schlump. Awareness is the first step to correction, so there's that. I see so many people absently leaning forward on their shopping carts literally using them as walkers, and that is further weakening muscles and creating a permanent issue. It is so easy to develop habits that don't serve us well. For me, the process of applying makeup is both relaxing and invogorating. You finished look is so pretty, pinks are divine on you.

Sounds like you are on the right track. Working your chest more than your back pulls your shoulders forward. You see this mistake on a lot of men who just want to build the chest.

Enjoyed, as usual, your update. I am a few years older than you and have been on the weight lifting kick for a couple of years. Love how it makes me feel empowered. If I could suggest to you, when standing against the wall, if your bend your arms at the elbow and bring the backs of your hands against the wall, it really provides a nice stretch to your back. My absolute favorite tight liner, without fail, nothing compares to it, is Persona. Thank you the encouraging updates on your journey.

Your wall exercise will be a good warmup for Katherine Morgan’s 10 minute arm workout. Then add some toe lifts/tendus, and a few releves. Just remember either relax the whole body and do several or do a few with perfect alignment. Omg love your hair and makeup!

Kimberly, soon you'll have to spell golf cart because Lucy is smart and your not going to fool her. Her reaction is so funny. I wish I could jump as high as her. I agree with you about how putting on a bit of makeup can lift your spirits. The color story you picked was beautiful and the color of your top looks great with your complexion. I find the darker lip liner can be tricky because when the lipstick wears away you end up with a dark line around your lips. I usually try to pick liners that are just a little darker and do touch ups during the day. I hope you went somewhere with your pretty look.

Kimberly, I always look forward to your videos. You mentioned using Lanbelle EGF. Can you please let us know if this product is worth purchasing? In the past, several content providers have commented on EGF but none have gone into depth, recommended a reasonable priced one or say that EGF is worthwhile. Hi, I love your posture tips. Here’s one to try. When you are flat against the wall, bring your arms up and bend elbows at 90 angles. Now keeping them flat against the wall, raise them up and down for 60 seconds. You will be holding your neck high and proud!
