Thank you for beeing so honest about how you are feeling 🙏❤ Mental healt is so important, and everyone should be able to talk about it, but for some it's tabu. And honesty like this might help others opening up about their own problems ❤ And feeling like you do, is not dumb. When your mind is put trough shocking experiences with no time to digest and get used to it, it will leave an impact. I have been trough a good deal of that myself, an it is though!!! Best advise I can give, is to take time, and let yourself know that it is okay to not be okay about it!! Remeber to take joy in the things that make you smile, and with the help of time it will get better ❤ It'll be fine ❤

Sending all the positivity and healing I can! 2 months ago I was sick for about 3 months with only a couple days where I felt okay. It really drains on you and I'm still recovering. Everything feels out of whack with so many routines being disrupted for so long. I don't know how well twist ties work, but bubblegum, shoelaces, and duck tape can build rockets so I think a boom arm would be easy. I know I'm just one person but I always go to you page to check for new videos so I don't miss them. Rest up and you'll get my views when your back!

Also been there, done that. Doctors saying things are just a wee bit bad. What I can offer is try to be glad a real, good doctor happened to see your case and makes things clear. Mine's a huge scar on my throat, its been 2 years. I didn't believe them when they said it would get better, but it did. Cheers and good wishes from the other side of the pond, from Brazil :)

KoS, THANK you so much for uploading this video today! I was getting worried that we hadn’t heard from you. I hope that venting about the healthcare providers there was as cathartic as the relief I felt to see you posting again. I am sorry to hear you were misled and uninformed. My day is happier that I found this video. Being hospitalized in any country is always difficult, doubly so when your day doesn’t align with the hospital. You reminded me of my last major surgery… just when you might be falling asleep they turn on all the lights and bustle in to take more blood or reposition something or more pills. Thank you for being brave enough to record the video. I am looking forward to whatever you do next. I always thought the cat-cam was endearing, but I would say don’t overthink it, no permanent camera setup needed. Just point the camera into some part of the cat-terium each time and whatever is in frame “it will be fine!” Sending you healing and energy vibes.

Same with my appendix, some of them said “oh it looks just a little inflamed” then suddenly they’re like “you need surgery now”. Been thinking of you, you will get through this speedily and the hardest part is unfortunately the mental aspect.

I've worked in the Swedish healthcare system as a nurses aide and I'm disappointed this happened to you. It's certainly not too much to ask of the hospital team for you to be properly informed about the extent of a potentially life-changing surgery. I've enjoyed your content for many years and will keep supporting your channel as much as I can. I love living i Sverige! Other than this weird lack of information thing, I love my regular nurses: they take care of me so well, same with my orthopedist. I also love the philosophy of our country taking care of the workforce, making sure everyone can be healthy.

omg KoS, i had no idea you were having foot problems. you're telling this story a lot calmer than i would. I would still be pissed off about all this. Just hearing this story makes me want to scream at a Doctor. I had foot surgery on my big toe when i was 17, i had an infection as well. but 6 months??!!! and that fasting story, what the fuck is wrong them?!?!?! They should know better than to make someone fast for more than a day....that's bullshit. What its worth, thanks for being brave for us and telling your story. We love you KoS, heal fast sweety. Sounds like your body needed the surgery and is healing up now. The mental part is tougher... I agree you should have been informed but maybe they thought to get you through the surgery without scaring you? They don't know how tough you are mentally, so they erred on the side of caution. But this has left you rightfully rocked, and that isn't ideal. I know you will get back onto an even keel, and your body will keep healing... and we will all enjoy the Games together as they come out.

I don't care what they thought. A patient has a right to know EXACTLY what they are cutting out of their body. This is cutting, slice and dice. This is not a pat on the back. Would you go into surgery without knowing exactly what they would be doing?

@@KatherineOfSky I would want the honest truth. I don't think that is actually possible anymore, and maybe the feeling that we used to have it is wrong and they always treated us like not quite bright children... but that could just be panic and misinformation from all sides talking.

Second opinions. Always. Some doctors are inexperienced, some are more direct and invasive in treatment, personally, with sepsis, there isn't little or let's see if we can salvage, it can only get worse. Operation is a MUST as soon as possible.
