may I add, could you ask your doctors if you can incorporate apple cider vinegar and fermented foods in your diet? I read that it's also good in keeping cholesterol at bay. It helped me with silent reflux and kept reading other benefits and found that it did help against cholesterol.

Katherine, I'm so sorry to hear you're ill. Strokes are really scary. Hopefully you will recover fully, or if not, at least as well as possible. I'm glad you live in Sweden now, where your paycheck doesn't determine how much treatment you'll get. Many people (including fellow Swedes, strangely enough) complain a lot about the level of care in hospital. I guess a part of that lies in our nature -- Swedes love to complain about everything, if nothing else, we love to complain about people who complain (as I do now!), but personally I have had almost only good experiences from hospitals, and as a disabled person, I have spent a lot of time in hospitals. Take care! I'm sending lots of good, healing energy your way.

Ill tell you what: I have had MUCH better care in Swedish hospitals than in the US, so I would never complain! Its amazing... I had the hand surgery literally a day after I got the xray. Everything else has been efficient and thorough. The only thing I can comoplain about is: no cats! I want my kitties! :D Alas, they wont discharge me yet because they need to make sure I am stable and doing well on the new meds, (again, being thorough). In Sweden I have been offered the latest and most advanced medical treatments (and medications) that were never available to me in the US. Its great here.

First and foremost, I wish you a speedy recovery. I've watched you for years to be honest, I just hardly ever comment as I'm not much of a talkative person. I used to go by a name of Link, but now it's just Lassus. I've commented a few times, mostly on your EGO series. But I found a love of your channel through Factorio as I assume a lot of us have. I loved how often you were able to upload, and keep your community knowing of your life even when it sometimes was hard. It's always channels like yours that fascinate me, as they keep a sense of home and community. While big mainstream channels just spit out slop and still stay on top. But channels like yours make everyone feel welcome despite being strangers on the internet. Personally I always admired how throughout so much in life you could still smile and spread positivity while the world was kicking you down. And that's why I wish to say, even while life is kicking you down, while everything seems to be against you.. Still stand and fight for what you believe in. Continue to spread positivity while you're not your best. Be who you believe to be your best self, not for others but to continue to blossom. I wish I were able to donate towards you in any shape of form, but I have no funds to be able to do so. So I can only donate my time and words, which so many people cannot spare even these days. Just know it's okay to rest up, no one will blame you for taking time for yourself during these hard times. Rest up, hydrate, and don't give up in yourself. You have so many people out here who root for you.
