Next to some of the youtubers you named I usually watch the following: Gemary (I love her style), Jess Alizzi (She is an Australian youtuber and I also love her style), Chloé Kian (She is a Swiss youtuber but makes her videos in English and she also has a French channel. She is very much into ethical and eco-friendly stuff), Hitomi Mochizuki (her videos are just so calming), Damon Dominique (He is an American living in Paris. His positive vibe is amazing and he always makes me laugh), The purple palace (Also an American living in Paris. She has such a crazy and unique style, but that also makes her very authentic), and last but not least theetarejade (she is a German youtuber so you might not understand everything. She only uploads once a month, but her vlogs are more than worth the wait). I hope you like some of them, love from Belgium!

I am obsessed with matcha and drink it every day. It's best made with 70 to 80 degree (celsius) water - there are kettles on the market that you can specify what temperature you want your water to be. You can purchase a bamboo spoon specifically designed for matcha too and it measures out the perfect amount of matcha for one serving. You can also get a stand for the matcha whisk that helps the whisk keep its shape and last longer. Iced matcha with oat milk is lovely in the summer time :)
@floramccorquodale8403 жыл бұрын
Where do you get your matcha from?]
@marlification3 жыл бұрын
@@floramccorquodale840 I'm in New Zealand but I know Tsujiri and also T2 have physical and online stores all over the world. I have tried both those brands and can say their matcha is of good quality. Also, they both sell the matcha accessories (whisk, spoon, and stand). When looking for matcha to drink, you should always get ceremonial grade matcha preferably from Uji in Kyoto because that is the best quality and taste for drinking. Lower grades are used for cooking and baking.

What is the most important about Matcha is to always get it Organic :) The reason being that matcha is the only variety of tea that is actually "eaten" and not drunken (I hope my grammar is correct, English is not my main language). It is processed by the body like food and not like tea (I found this fact so interesting when I learned it). Also make sure to use ceremony tea and not cooking matcha.

Thank you for sharing your feelings about things getting "back to normal", Brittany. I can definitely relate, being an introvert myself. This past year has been hard - not being able to see/hug family, but also such a nice feeling to know that the pressure we feel to always be "doing" instead of just "being" was felt worldwide. I'm also very anxious for everything to open back up here in California, and for people to start planning events/dinners/travels again. I quite enjoyed being able to stay inside and read books and watch movies all year without the added pressure of feeling left out or feeling envious of others who have the mental capacity of always socializing. I'm sure we will all figure it out and hopefully our friends and family will be gentle to the introverted amongst us. :)

I experienced very similar feelings when lockdown in Belgium opened up again. (it's more restricted again though). I'm introverted as well and found it quite hard to adjust to socializing that much again and having frequent interactions. The days that I had just to myself felt quite nice and made me appreciate all the things i like doing on my own, but didn't do enough because of social 'pressure'. It's nice being on your own but it doesn't feel the same when you know everyone is hanging out, doing fun things together etc. But I do realize that it's okay to not attend everything, although it can seem like you're missing out. I really enjoy your content and feel like seeing you enjoy your time at home makes me appreciate my alone time even more, so thank you x

Her style is completely different to yours but I think you would like The Purple Palace, her vlogs are really soothing and she is living alone in Paris. Ivan Lams vlogs are also super calming

I gave a little gasp when I saw you had put up a video.I was scrolling and procrastinating and yes I do that each morning.I agree about the link to anxiety.Am I alone in wanting to get back out and do things but also part of me does not want to go back out again ? I love your poster.Would you believe I have a piece of fabric art that i framed up and has sat on the stairs for 10 days now,it will take seconds to hang.Thank you for posting x

We've also been in a strict lockdown here in NL and I feel you one the same-shit-different-day kind of thing haha! Everyday feels the same for me too and I do not know what I would do when this all changes again.. I'm in uni so I do have different assignments and deadlines all over the place but still :/
