I think Emily Henry does such a good job at depicting Miles in a way that showed how both of them would feel about each other in the beginning & then also showcasing how the perspective changes over time & as they fall in love. I feel like people didn’t like it because they’re used to books being the whole “love at first sight” thing when that’s SO UNREALISTIC.

I only know this because I have also bought that book from steamy lit, and it does say on their website that it’s a special just dust jacket over a hardback copy. But you definitely have to like read the description to see that they don’t make it very clear.
