That's one hell of a challenge, Carolin! Congratulations on having the courage to go for it and having the ability to complete it! You guys rock! 🤜🤛

That is fantastic Carolin. You are now ready to train and try the Devil Mountain Double . Going up the East side of Hamilton is difficult so you are a rockstar.

what a great physical accomplishment Carolin and team. looks like a tough event to do. congrats to everyone, you are inspiring many thousands of others to live a healthy and sporty lifestyle. keep up this wonderful cycling / sports channel. I am so happy that you recovered from that accident, your smile is of an Angel and so nice to see it back, i am currently recovering from a 10th surgery in just over 6 years.

Amazing video! Having explored nearly every corner of Mt. Diablo, your video inspired me to finally tackle Mt. Hamilton

Great accomplishment! Hand your camera to a friend or two and let them vid you while riding in a few clips. Would have liked to have seen a longer vid with more climbing footage. Great editing.

Wonderful ride, awesome challenge. And there's nothing like a random road angel to really make a ride special. (Greetings from Oakland.)

That is truly impressive. I’ve only biked to the top of the Lick Observatory and went back down and that was already a big ride for me 😅 Loving your biking content Carolin!

Great video and great job! I personally haven’t tackled the 10K Century but do solo Century(miles) every month, sometimes 2-3x a month. I’m entering my first Century event ride that I will do on my gravel but use 700x38c slick tires

Huge kudos, I have fear climbing Mt Hamilton from the steep section

Great job! That's a big day on the bike for sure. If you want more epic climbs you should come up to Chico sometime for great rides in the middle of nowhere, just you, good roads, no cars and big climbs...no BART station at the end, sorry!

Chapeau. Really. I am impressed. I am motivated more to try for la Turbie tomorrow ( above Monaco).

You're fortunate to live somewhere with climbs like this available. And no real winter to speak of. The biggest hill around here is the Niagara Escarpment, which is less than 100m in elevation gain from Lake Ontario to Lake Erie. And now it's time to retreat indoors for the winter. I'm envious.
@kenmeyer1002 ай бұрын
there is always Zwift. Where you can climb the mountains the Tour de France pros climb. Indoors.

@kenmeyer100 oh yeah, I've done the Alpe du Zwift and others. I'm not sure it's quite the same though lol 🤣

I met with them at Pleasant Hill BART, rode up Diablo before parting ways. They continued to Livermore, up the backside of Hamilton and then down towards BART in the South Bay.
