Cannot believe how humid it is in your house. I was in Caldas last week on a scouting trip. Could not believe how hard it rained for a day or two. Still loved it. Cheers from Alaska.

Yes, the homes in Portugal are known for their lack of insulation. However, we have found that turning on a dehumidifier and or heat for a couple of hours has helped tremendously ❤️

Hi Josie, thanks for showing Salir do Porto bay it was low tide good time to go and check out that spring of fresh water out in the bay. Don’t know if it’s still there but I use to get that fresh water that comes from a spring inside the bay towards the rocks after passing the sand dunes. Great water then, many moons ago! 😁

Humidity is a challenge in Portugal the way the homes have been build even in a new home. In order to maintain 50 to 60 percent humidity levels in the home we run our A/C / Heat/Humidifier units twice a day for two hours each in a new build home since we left in May in order to keep humidity levels low. Of course we will return soon and open windows a little for air flow will bring humidity levels down.

Please go back, I really want to see the town :) I love that you get wrapped up in the present and forgot to film the rest of your day

Hey Josie, we can't seem to find any good T3 rentals around CDR area. Do you have any recommendations? I am so excited about your channel and totally relate to your reasons for moving to Portugal.

Would recommend idealista and olx.pt for rentals. Also, Facebook market place is also a great resource too!
