Thank you 🧡 The only reason it concerns me so much is because it really bothers me when there is unnecessary noise in the background. The other thing I have to work on is the angle of the camera. I am saving for a new camera which will hopefully help with that.

I think videos like this are brilliant for seeing what is involved in setting up the shop part of a business. I doubt people understand what is involved both in equipment requirements but also cost. Keeley I had thought you would not have to buy more shelving etc having had a shop but I was wrong. I really hope that the business flourishes for you. Make the most of your downtime to relax.

There is even more that goes into this that I haven't been able to share as a lot of it involves confidential information. Getting the contracts sorted always takes longer than setting up the actual shop 😝 If the ramp was in the middle of the shop, I probably wouldn't have needed extra shelving as I could anchor the taller ones to the wall. But I love the feel it creates walking into the open space.

Thank you 🧡 Perth is so beautiful - it's another place we have considered moving too for a number of years but I think our family would disown us 😆 Peppa has brought us so much joy (and a little frustration!) She worked out how to get over the temporary fence yesterday and decided the Pot Plants needed rearranging!

Oh my Keeley, what a lot of work has gone into creating your new shop, it looks amazing!!! I love the signage (both inside and out) and the set up is fantastic. My only thought would be you may want to consider putting up something (possibly some lattice or similar to the front edging on your benches) at the back of the soap shelving as I can see lots of fingers squeezing the soaps not only on the way in, but the on the way out. Also consider putting in a security monitor. But I am so glad that you have finally got the new shop up and running. May you have great success in this new location. xx 💝💝😊😊

Thank you 🧡 I have the soap shelves set up so people can see them from the back to act as a teaser for when they come round to the front. I will see what happens these school holidays. As yet, I haven't seen any children in the shop. Don't worry about the security 😉 that has been covered just as it was in the old shop. Though I should also say I have been extremely lucky in the 12-years I have done this and can count on 1 hand how many thefts I have had and they were all at markets. The security was more for the vandals at night time.

Thank you 🧡 It has been such a positive change for us both. Although I write with my right hand, I am quite ambidextrous when it comes to many other tasks so I easily adapt when things move. I haven't really noticed a difference with having it on the opposite side.

I so envy you KMart! We haven't had a KMart in my part of NYState in years. My Hometown in New Jersey still has one, but it's really not worth the drive for a few items. I do miss them.

32:17 I did something similar in cutting and running a piece of power cable up and I came up about 4 feet to short of where I needed be. This happened because I am bad at math and because I had to start about 3 feet farther back then I thought I did. My easy fix was to splice another 4 feet on to what I had already layed down.

I was always taught measure twice, cut once but it only helps if you start with the right numbers. At least I had too much on this occasion so it was a cheap fix.

I love your little screw gun. RYOBI are great, but they tend to be one of the more fragile on the market. My last one lasted for a while, but in my working up on ladders I need something that could survive a fall from said ladder. What's funny is my main tool kit is one that I got at IKEA for about $10.

We have always found Ryobi to be reliable and durable. The drill has taken a few tumbles 😝 I love the Ryobi One range. I like my tool kit from Ikea though the mallet head on the hammer has now disintegrated

What about a nice big flower pot with tall flowers in the gap by the door? It fills the space, is decorative and kids usually won't touch.

Hubby suggested that too. 🧡 It might be something I do in the interim but I want to get the window "dressed" so people know what I have and are enticed to come in. I am looking forward to decorating for Halloween.

I think our Australian stores are a little different to the US ones. Ours is basically a large dollar store full of cheap things. No big brand names these days like they had 20 years ago and the worst part is the check out counter is in the middle of the store so everyone is stopped to show bags and receipts on the way out. Such a stupid concept.
