Hi Keeley .Sorry that you suffer from headaches. I suffer from migraines so I know what it is like . If 39:02 I have a really bad headache though I find just wearing my sunglasses helps maybe try that and see if it gives you some relief . Hope you are feeling better now 😊

The pattern must have wanted it to be cut on the cross grain 🙂 it’ll affect the way the fabric drapes. I’ve just cleared out the tubs of fabric/craft stuff in my shed and have tried my hand at making clothing too 🙂 so far it’s been a skirt from a pattern, a top using a pattern I made myself and Thomas the tank boxers for my 18yr old grandson 🤪

if your dog keeps trying to dig under your patio then maybe there is something buried under there like maybe someones beloved family pet? or maybe try looking into your homes history to see if it has been the site of a missing person or something? dogs dig for a reason! lol xxx

Well done on the busier day selling candles - it wont take long before word gets around and you will be so flat out with customers you will need to employ someone! Its been shocking hot up here in North Qld as well - just awful! I honestly think the internet is being sabotaged on purpose so we all sign up to StarLink! Have a great month Keeley, 🥰

Another busy month for you Keeley, even in the quiet summer break. Lol, I was around 9 when I first started using my mother's old foot treadle sewing machine. It only had one stitch - straight stitch - and you went as fast as you could peddle....but I loved it and it taught me the basics for a year or two, but then I moved on to making clothes for a few years. My first job was in a women's clothing factory - doing ironing, but within 3 years, I was the head sample machinist and then 2 years later, the floorlady in charge of around 35 staff. The pattern looks nice and the finished results look good on you. Keep up the great work and look forward to the next video. 💖💖🤗🤗

I was eight when I had my first sewing machine from Father Xmas…..yes a child’s model but it worked so I have been sewing since then. Mind stopped making for self many years ago but continued for grandchildren must get back as I have a horde. I need a new machine mind as mine is so old. Love the pattern Keeley good on you We have those modern card only ones the writing is so small it’s no wonder we can’t use them. UK also do in car parks but they have a big sign towelling you how to use I still got lost and asked for help from another user. Some don’t take cash not sure what happens if you don’t have a card.

I love that you can use these to distill spirits and methanol too, it's everything an off grid homestead apothecary needs! Spirits, Methanol (for fuel), Hydrosols and Essential Oils!
@SoyandShea2 күн бұрын
To do all that, I recommend getting two stills. You wouldn't want to taint the spirits with botanicals from some hydrosol

Hi Keeley, Jo here from Burpengary, I saw your gorgeous photo with Elly and George on Ellys channel, what a happy day! I loved this video and really noticed that in the final pic, your alkanet looked soooo much more purple than when you cut it! Are you happy with that final colour because I think it’s gorgeous? ☺️
@SoyandShea2 күн бұрын
Thank you 🧡 it was so exciting to meet up with George and Elly. I am happy with the colours though I still can't get the beautiful shades I see others get
@joallsopp1602 күн бұрын
I totally agree with you ….I’ve done many many experiments with alkanet, madder root mixed with Brazilian purple clay, braz purple clay on its own etc , just to get that lovely purple I want with natural additives .. it’s an ongoing challenge 😂😅
@SoyandSheaКүн бұрын
@@joallsopp160 They do say that purple is one of the rare colours in nature which is probably why it is so hard to capture.

Interesting Keeley, now I’m puzzled yet again. the natural vs not in regard to micas has puzzled since I started making soap so I went with not natural as a safety measure. I understand from reading micas are not considered natural as tinted using dyes and other things. Hence I have steered clear of them. I see through watching many are moving into “all natural” ingredients in various locations Fabulous swirls there and colours I have the same result with alkanet.
@SoyandShea2 күн бұрын
You have to remember that there is no true definition of Natural and just because something is natural, it doesn't mean it's safe. There are some synthetic mica out there but they generally cost more. You need to read the list of ingredients in a mica to determine if it's natural or not. Most use things like iron oxide, chromium oxide green etc to colour the mica and these are natural earth minerals unless they state its a synthetic mica.

You could consider to heat infuse the poewders into your oils. Holy has some videos as well as Lisa I think. That's how I learned. As well as botanicals. It is time consuming but so worth it. I also only use essential oils in my soaps an I anchor the fragrance with some cornstarch or keolin clay. Half a teaspoon. Beatiful soap.
@SoyandShea4 күн бұрын
It's funny you should say that as last weekend, I began the process of heat infusing the colours. I just wanted to play with first and then see where I can take it. 🧡
