Just a friendly suggestion, no pun intended. A wooden cutting board is much safer to use in the kitchen than a plastic one.

Why? I think they are easier to clean as dirt does not get ingrained in the wood. Most professional kitchens have plastic, colour coded for different foods. They can also be put in dish washer which is great.
