Hello! A little idea for a future vlog… This may sound weird, but, I’m someone who really struggles with executive function and with organising details. I have found it so helpful when you have shared how you structure your to-do lists and manage your day to day tasks (including how you prepare for hosting). Would you ever consider sharing a video of how you mentally prepare and organise for hosting, or how you go about your to-do lists in general for keeping on top of your home tasks or the like? It may sound silly for asking, but it’s been so helpful learning how you go about budgeting or how you structure your to-do lists for making a 7 course meal, etc. You’re a legend!

A good way to store your foam topper would be an extra large vacuum seal bag. I use it for all of my extra comforters and pillows. On a side note, please don't listen to the negative comments asking what does Jordy do. Anyone that actually truly pays attention to your vlogs would be aware that he does a lot. The people that are putting out those negative comments unfortunately probably have something in their life that they're unhappy about. Either that or they're just princesses and think that women should do nothing. You seem happy, live your life. Can't wait until the next video.

You worked so hard on cleaning the couch covers, and they look great, but I wonder if it would be worth finding a blanket to cover the couch where your baby Max likes to sleep?
@jackiedecoma4637

Agree. That way you only have to wash the blanket/towel etc. and also is protecting the couch from wear and tear.

They make couch cushion covers that you can just put on them in two seconds. I had some made because it was cheaper than buying some, but they definitely make covers for couches now. And it’s so much easier than washing the actual cushion covers. Mine are machine washable but a pain to take off and get back on .

For the mattress topper I would just get an ikea storage box like the ones for under the bed that zip up & fold it into that. Then it will be neat in the closet. I would also put dryer sheets with the linens in the laundry because even clean sheets get a slight musty smell in a sealed container. Absolutely love the apron! ❤ Yess! Hire someone for admin work like 15-20 hours a week! Good luck on the course.

Hi Michel. Friendly tip. When I store my extra blankets and comforters, I use the vacuum seal bags first and then put them in a tote bin. You will have way more storage in the tote (it'll weigh heavier, too) :)

My husband and I lived in San Diego for a few months before we got married, and the last thing we did before we moved back east was have dinner at Addison. We did the tasting menu! We had a huge yard sale and sold everything before we moved, and used some of that to pay for the meal (though that was 9 years ago so I can't imagine the cost -now!0)

For the foam topper: I have one for a fold out too and I leave it on the bed and it still folds up perfectly! And that way I don’t have to take it off and on and don’t have to worry about storing it. So maybe yours can stay on the bed too and just fold it up like normal with it on.

I do own Jenni Kayne cashmere and quince. Jenni is absolutely 2 ply and quince is one. It’s a huge difference. However sometimes I don’t need the weight Jenni offers living in the Bay Area I will grab my lighter version. A does ball and pile a lot and quickly. My middle version is actually Bloomingdale’s own C Cashmere brand, same price as Q on sale and superior quality. Looking forward to your Addison meal. Being a guest of someone was fabulous, it’s an event of its own! So happy to got creative to save for the meal I’m going to take that advise and amp up my eBay store for such splurges.

Here's a little suggestion for the COUCH COVERS... spot treat with Spray & Wash, soak in the tub with the stuff you used. Rinse and resoak, until the water is clear, and then wash in the machine with Biz Bleach. That should do the trick! Getting a dark brown blanket for Max's "spot" would save you from having to wash the covers :-) I'm surprised that you decided to move forward with the culinary hybrid program. Hmmmmmm... interesting

"attitude" in you in the last few videos! You seem more relaxed and unbothered in a confident way (you're still really sweet and funny as always though!) :) Is this change something that you noticed yourself? I know you said after quitting birth control you felt more "edgy"? I hope this makes any sense, there might be better words for what I'm trying to say that I don't know as English isn't my first language, haha... you might not see this anyway but I mean it all in a really positive way! And since she’s literally had a staff infection on her nose…. I don’t really think she needs that kind of advice lol.

🤞🏻all fingers crossed for your interview success! It sounds like a challenge when you won’t be able to taste things but what skill to develop being able to season without tasting. So they deduct points if it’s not seasoned right and you can’t taste it I think they should give you bonus points if it is seasoned well and you haven’t tasted it ❤

I'm surprised that the school isn't more accommodating for dietary restrictions.

It kind of makes sense. If they are having more people than they can let in. I've worked in the food services area and they don't really like having employees with allergies. It creats more work for other employees. Because you should be tasting things. So they are less likely to want you in a regular restaurant. Which effects their numbers on how likely you are to get a job if you come here.

@@pamm2652 I just thought they'd want someone on staff that knows about allergies/that can accommodate customers.

@jennyhammond9261 depends on the restaurant and maybe the state you're in. On how much they feel, that would be beneficial and focused on it. Gluten-free isn't a 1 to 1 replacement, so the school can't just say use this it will be the same thing. And tends not to have the same texter.

I think it's because she's not going in for a special dietary restricted program. She wants to learn how to cook all the things she can't eat - how can they be more accommodating?

She doesn’t. She uses clear lip balms or oils. Her lips are naturally really pigmented

Goodness, there's an unusual amount of snark in the comments on this video. I wonder what this pushed at for people? Seems like it's worth remembering that generosity and kindness are lovely characteristics and that what we see in these videos is curated, not open access to every facet and detail of Michel's life. So, assumptions based off them are unlikely to be accurate ❤.
