im happy you feel comfortable opening up more. would love to get a Q&a about your personal and career life. Do you see yourself moving out of your parents home anytime soon? Maybe moving to a larger city gives you a chance to grow as a person. There a loads of hobbies you can do that don't really require to always go out: book club, creative things like painting/knitting etc., take a online class to learn a new skill or language, I know you are really into fitness I could see you training for a 5k or half marathon.

Loren this vlog is much appreciated I loved to see you pray and your prayer outfit looks amazing. I also loved how authentic you were in this vlog and there are a lot of people out there feeling lonely including me. Life is not easy but if we strive to live on the right path we have so much to win. Love you sister 💕.

Hi Loren! This is totally unsolicited but I just wanted to share some advice from a fellow Muslim divorceé. When I got divorced, I moved somewhere new, I got my own place, and I tried to be as independent as possible. What happened next was the start of the most beautiful phase of my life Alhamdulillah. It was lonely at times - but a few things that happened to me: I learned to love ME and pour into ME. Suddenly, there wasn’t anyone else to take care of me (not my parents, not my partner), and I learned so much about myself as I learned to love me - my boundaries, and what I was and wasn’t going to accept in my life. When I met my new husband, he always said that he was inspired by the way I honored and treated myself, and knew that if he wanted me, he had to treat me even better than I already treated myself. I also learned to have high standards - if someone wasn’t going to love and honor me the way I loved and treated myself and them…I was so much more confident to walk away because I knew what it felt like to truly be independent and I wasn’t scared of being alone anymore. Lastly, I was in the best shape of my life because all I had to do was go to work and then focus on me :) . Moving out and living alone was truly one of the best periods of my life, and when I look back at it with my girlfriends (Muslim or otherwise) we all agree that a woman should live independently at least once in her life. So many of my girlfriends who got married young, had babies young - look back at the time I got with myself when I was young and wish they had had the same experience. Maybe pick a spot with other single girlies! Maybe Austin to be near Amanda and her SILs? They seem to have a ton of fun and not everyone has kids yet. I also think as you grow and get older, so are your followers. I’m sure living on your own and cultivating your own space, and the day by day of adulting on your own (not that you don’t adult now - it’s just different living with your parents!) would probably resonate with your followers now too as they navigate their different stages of life. Give it a try 🩷 sending lots of love and a big hug! You got this and you deserve the world.
@leastidyworld436512 сағат бұрын
I’ve never lived alone and I am not independent as a result. Tbh independence kinda scares me. I get scared that I can’t take care of myself. Wow, I feel like I am in therapy. 😆

@@leastidyworld4365anyone can do it, as long as you have a steady job! I lived paycheck to paycheck for my first year and spent very carefully, but as a result I had a lot of time curating every single piece in my apartment at the time. It passed the time, gave me something to focus on and brought me joy! It’s great things like investing in yourself and your space that helped me battle the loneliness when it came!

Embrace the loneliness. Use the time to get to know yourself better and work on your shortcomings! I'm going the through the same thing but Alhamdulilaa, I don't try to get too much into my head about it. I always remind myself that Allah is giving me this time to work on my relationship with Him and to be close to Him where otherwise, I would've had distractions.

i commented last video about how it would be nice to show some vulnerability, and i wanted to thank you for listening to your supporters! I appreciated how you opened up about the hard transition and didn't fake a bubbly happy personality. I hope we see more of this and you can answer our questions, as followers we sometimes feel pushed away from your regular beauty content. As a Muslim girl, i know the societal pressure to be married by a certain age and the views on getting divorced, and it takes so much more strength to leave a situation that doesn't serve you. I would love to see you dive into these topics and give your perspective when you're ready, it would help a lot of people struggling through the same thing and puts into perspective that you're truly just like us, which i missed seeing from you 💗

Loren, idk if you’ll read this, but I know how challenging it is to be back, living, with your parents. But, remember that you will only be this “commitment-free” for a short period. Your parents will only be this age, for this period of time. Learn to embrace this period, spend time and bond even more with your parents, family and friends. Find and create a more quality relationship with them. May Allah guide you, and continue to strengthen you. 🩷

The only thing that helped me get through it was getting closer to the religion and our faith and I kept myself busy! Whether that was making random hair bookings on a weekend, facial appointments, wake up early grab a coffee and go for a walk. I also worked 2 jobs purposely to keep myself from feeling lonely. And definitely focusing on no one other than yourself! May Allah grant you ease 🤍

I feel for you Loren and I hope your lonely feeling passes. I recently read some really mean comments about you and your sisters and it made me realize how vulnerable people online can be. I am one of your non-Muslim followers….I don’t think I have ever even known a Muslim person. So I was surprised to see the venom in the comments, and I realized women of all religions can be SO CATTY. I thought Christian women were bad but now I clearly see we do not have the monopoly on mean and judgmental. I really hope you are able to dismiss those comments and know they are not TRUTH or REALITY, simply a stranger’s perception of someone they do not know.

Majority of your viewers don't have privileges like you do so maybe normal detergents are affordable. Just food for thought. By all means show your shopping and your lifestyle but plz refrain from words like "you guys shouldnt be buying" im sure if we all had the option we'd want to make better choices and more expensive choices but we dont all have the bank balances to buy all natural detergents oe expensive handwashes or natural free sanitary equipment. I get this vibe mostly from you and leena. Not from amanda. She seems much more humble
