Oh, Emily. Velvet is a fabric made with a pile of natural materials like silk or cotton. A crushed velvet is when the velvet fabric is twisted during the drying process to give the fabric more texture. Velour is like velvet, but made of synthetic materials with a looped nap. NOW, are those jackets „velvet” or “velour”?
