The stairs look amazing! 😍 I thought I’d share my painting tips as the child of chronic renovators who has been roped into painting more walls than she can count: 1) Never skimp on your painter’s tape. You really get what you pay for. 2) Always peel off your tape BEFORE the paint is dry, that way you don’t get any flakes stuck and being ripped off your freshly painted wall. 3) ALWAYS keep a damp cloth nearby. That way, if you spill a glob of paint on something you weren’t supposed to, you can just quickly swipe it off. Congratulations on finishing such a mammoth job, Lucy! What an amazing achievement! ❤️

The stairs look AMAZING!! I felt a physical pain in my stomach when you said the paint had seeped under all the tape.. I am having a very 1 step forward, 10 giant strides back time with my work at the moment but seeing your glowing pride and joy at the end of this really made me look forward to the feeling when I finally get to the end of my metaphorical staircase (hopefully, one day..)!
