I saw that the kitchen is huge and it also have like orangerie (?) at the opposite site, with huge windows. What is porridge exactly? Is it the same as oatmeal? I live in the southern US and we never call it porridge, but we have oatmeal. We also have grits which is ground corn cooked in water with salt. It’s delicious, especially with butter added to it, but nothing like oatmeal. Some people love grits with cheese mixed in, or even shrimp! I know you wouldn’t like that though, since you’re a vegan.

While it’s cooking, I add a pat (about 1 teaspoon) of butter, lots of cinnamon because I love it that way, and about 1 teaspoon of honey. I try to add all this while the oatmeal is cooking to save a little time. After pouring into the bowl, I’ve been adding a little bit of Stevia to sweeten it to my taste, because I don’t want to eat too much of the honey.
