Also, since I know people will ask lol. My lower lip is currently crooked. I did a little experiment on myself with botox (only doing one side). It will wear off in another couple weeks, no big deal! I will say I miss my smile though! also wanted to reiterate this: If you ever feel uncomfortable with what the owner of your practice is making you do, QUIT. MOVE ON. Find a better fit! Simple as that. (This applies to both private and corporate) And if you really think you can do it better, open your own! That is what I did. Thanks for watching. Hope this video gives you insight, and maybe even courage/inspiration to do your own thing! I encourage you guys to take control of your career and do things the way you see fit.

Dentistry no matter what can be stressful True, as a Corp dentist you're at the mercy of management, but as a Private dentist you're at the mercy of the patients, the staff, the State Board, etc... It seems like the two of you have combined the best of both worlds :) and if you were not together each career would be way more stressful than it currently is. Good for youuuu

Can you ask your husband some specific questions regarding the typical schedule, types of procedures, number of days per year worked, etc... needed to make an annual income of say $250k? I'm just wondering how hard it might be? Especially if you do bread and butter dentistry, minus molar endo

Can you make a video on the struggles/process of starting your own practice or buying an existing practice?

how do open a practice with all the debt from dental school?
@Joycethedentist3 жыл бұрын
it can be a little tough but typically if you buy an existing practice it should be making income, and you get a loan for that practice based on how much it is making, or a percentage of it.

I think corporate dentists have a little less stress. Lol do you think that’s true?

Hmm.. that is hard for me to answer. I think it depends on the person. My husband doesn't seem very stressed by it but I think I would be more stressed. I like when my schedule is exact and running behind or having people wait in the waiting room really stresses me out.
