I've had matoke prepared the Ugandan way...didn't know you have matoke in Kenya too. What a beautiful place...so nice to have the generations living in one homestead...family is everything.

Children building houses in our parents compound is also very popular in my country Seychelles. Despite us being an Island nation off mainland Africa and having a population which have mixed with Europeans/Chinese and Indians we still have a lot of similarity to mainland Africa.

Wow! That family is blessed! Having all living in the same compound with their parents, looking after their parents and for their parents to have a good time to always interact with their kids and grandkids is super amazing! Also us Kikuyus do that but I think Kisiis do it better!

This is awesome to watch. I am from Australia but had the opportunity to come with my family to kisii to come and preach the gospel. Kenya is a place that we love so much. Most of us that come were from 🇼🇸 Samoa and Tonga we loved the food. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

You should visit the new Dallas INN Hotel. It's the classiest of all in kisii. Recently opened. Secondly do kamel park and lastly ufanisi resorts every Sunday for the Sunday brunch.

Little correction. Written Kisii not 'Kissi'. Colonial authorities couldn't pronounce our word 'Gusii, so they peddled the name Kisii and they registered the name. Was first called 'Getembe' over a hundred years ago

But the place doesn't look that rich. The roads leave a lot to be desired. Or maybe them being inside a car, they didn't show us much. Maybe they should have walked instead especially in the town.

According to national statistics bureau kisii community total population in kenya is 2.3M . Where by Kisii county has 800k and Nyamira 590k and the rest resides outside kisii region. Meaning his 3m figure is wrong.
