HI MIndy! My London tip to you is this: DO NOT LEAVE without having afternoon tea at the iconic Fortnum & Mason department store. It costs around $80 per person but it is so worth it! It’s a very splurge worthy experience. All the food is delicious and they even let you take home anything you can’t finish in a cute little take home container. They have an amazing food hall where you can purchase the most delicious fresh and packaged food and the most delicious pastries. They have beautiful souvenirs and you won’t regret stopping by. The food hall is on its own floor but I can’t remember which one, might be the basement level. Do make your reservations ahead of time for the high tea experience to secure your time. ALSO, I highly recommend visiting the Tower of London for a self guided tour of the Queens family jewels and you can see the old prison where they held prisoners from a time long ago. Very historical. You’re going to have the best trip of your life yet! Have fun. PS take an extra suitcase for all those souvenirs, you won’t regret it.

I wouldn't leave my baby and hubby for a round trip anywhere , ten million dollar gift plus a mansion ....I don't think I'd enjoy myself...my baby without me for a single half of one day is not a thought at all ...plus not having my hubby's hugs at night ooohhh no nop . But you can pull it off , enjoy , be safe and download a location app like life 360 , works around the world , so you can have that home buddy system and be safer

I am not shaming her. I am sharing I wouldn't do it for fun...I don't find happiness without them. My own personal preference coming from my own personal difficulties to get to have my child home after two open heart surgeries he had during his first three months of life. My hubby and baby are my home , my world, my wonder and my oxygen.

Hey girl! Def walk around Mayfair!! I went this past May, and it was actually freezing when it was supposed to be "warm" weather (Im from LA, not used to cold weather), so definitely be prepared for the weather. Also, I'd suggest traveling with a staple coat, one that can be dressed up or down, that way it doesn't take up luggage space. And heads up- London airport is so strict with the liquid rule! Restaurant Recs: -Sketch -Amazonico -Nomad covent Garden -the Maine mayfair -Jacuzzi So random but if you stubble upon pubs try the Berries and Cherries Cider, SO good!!

Advice from an international flight attendant, please please please whatever liquids/gels you bring make sure they are 3oz or less and they ALL fit in ONE plastic zip locked bag when you are leaving London. They are very very strict with that. You will find pretty cool stores in London to shop as well. Have a safe trip

Autumn is very slowly drawing in but it can be chilly & cosy one day then hot summer the next so definitely pack for all weather. Comfort is definitely key for walking around the city. One thing I will say about London is it’s very busy and VERY expensive! I live in Belfast, N.Ireland and yes it’s expensive here but oh wow! London is on another level. That’s being said, you should visit Harrods, Westminster Abbey, Fortum and Mason, and general sightseeing things - palaces etc. On my recent trip, we did Harry Potter Studio Tour - amazing!!

When my Englishman and our younger son went to the UK in 2019, the only thing that I would change is we would have worn masks on the flight. We got colds. Everything else was fabulous! Especially being with my in-law family. Enjoy and ignore negative comments. You all are wonderful! 💜

I went to London mid September and it was freaking hot. Walking around all day. I should have brought more short sleeve outfits. Also bring more than 1 pair of tennis shoes. When you get blisters from walking 10 miles you’ll want to switch your shoes the next day

We went to London in our Honeymoon make sure you do Harry Potter walking tour they take you around all the filming areas, Universal Harry Potter tour and Edinburgh. Take the train over from London, make sure you pay extra for the first class ticket( it’s only a few dollars more). We didn’t pay extra on our train ride there and it was packed people were sitting on the floor, or they had to stand the whole train ride there. We learned and on our way back we paid extra and it was so worth it.
