Dr. Dray, Love your videos! Especially the weekend ones with your Mom. Question: I've tried on an off for the past two years to incorporate CeraVe PM into my routine because absolutely everyone loves the stuff. For some reason it sends my skin that only breaks out a little every month into a completely unpredictable cycle of breakouts. It hate that because it really makes my skin feel good, but look bad! Do you have any recommendations for a moisturizer that has niacinamide and hyaluronic? I've used Neutrogena hydro boost but wish it had a more cream like consistency...

Dr.dray, I'm a 33 yo female with pale skin and I tan easily. I have oily skin with acne and ice pick scars. I think my skin is combo because I'm super oily on my checks and forehead but dry on my nose and chin. I noticed I have some discoloration on the side of my forehead . I haven't figured out if it super white dots with brown dots mixed or brown dots with my white skin peaking through. I been using a sa face wash, Noxzema sa face pads, and then a gel cream moisturizer which contain fruit exacts. Sometimes I use a witch hazel toner. I use sunscreen only in direct sunlight because it breaks me out more.I'm not sure what's causing the discoloration problems, it's on the side of my face where the sun shines on me through the window when I'm in the car. Since my face breaks out I'm unsure of what I should use on my face since I'm having this problem and what's causing the discoloration. Thank you for all your info. Your the best!!!

I agree that the whole Patrick Crawley story was a bit...weird. I mean, he and Mary were engaged, so he must have been in his late teens or early twenties when he went missing/supposedly died. And it was mentioned how much time he spent at Downtown Abbey. So when he got his memory back, he should have been able to easily come up with convincing information to prove his identity...I mean, he must have talked to Robert as well as Mary quite a bit, seeing that he was the heir to the estate as well as her fiancé. I can see someone faking being a childhood friend - memories of that age are unreliable and people change a lot during puberty and all that, but an adult? Otherwise it’s a marvelous series though...I‘ve recently started ‚The Crown‘ about the young Queen Elizabeth. I think you would enjoy that one, too 🙂

One has octinoxate the other titanium dioxide. Can I use both? Neither has avobenzene...... I use the clear elta md as my base and the tinted elta md because I love the way it looks on my skin (plus it's a sunscreen and I feel like I'm fully sunscreen covered) just making sure by using one I'm not cancelling the other.....??????

How would you describe the tinted one? Is it ok for combo skin? Thanks!!
@Calena12306 жыл бұрын
joann orlando I have dry skin,acne prone. It feels heavier, maybe a hint greasier than the uv clear one. I like that, because I have dry skin. So far I haven't experienced any "new breakouts" or what I would consider "new" acne. The tinted one says "oil free". Before purchasing my dermatologist office had little packets sample ones to try. They gave me so many I didn't need to buy one for a while. I didn't even made an appointment,just showed up at office asked and left with samples. I hope my long rambling answers helps!😬

Hi Dr Drey, I have an off topic question. I use the hyloronic acid from the Ordinary. If I’m not mistaken you did a review on some of their products. As you may or may not know it is thick in consistency. I am not sure where to put this step in my skin care routine. It is my understanding that serums and watery products go on first then moisturizer then oil. I want to make sure the HA is getting absorbed into my mature skin and any products going on after the HA will get absorbed as well. My confusion is it’s not watery like serums and not thick like a cream or moisturizer. I am in desperate need of help on this. I have asked 4 other beauty, skin care KZbinrs and non of them have answered my question at all. Either they don’t know the answer or don’t check their comments after 3 weeks. Help! One last thing and forgive me if I missed your take on this. How do you feel about at home dermarolling? And how often should it be done ? Thank you so much Dr Drey, love your reviews and use many of your recommendations. Tina

Hello, dr Dray. I think that you've said in the past (hope I'm not mistaking) that there's no proof that suggests denat alcohol is harmful to skin. But is this actually true for high concentrations, like products which have denat alcohol as the third ingredient? Does is it not affect skin health and barrier function in any way? By the way, off topic, I'd be so starstruck if I'd actually get a reply from you :D.

I read the Outlander series books when they first came out and found them excellent. I really enjoy Diana Gabaldon’s style of writing. While people enjoy the television series, personally I think it pales in comparison to the books. I would put them as two separate entities. But isn’t that usually what happens when books are translated to screen. You loose depth of the story. The television Series is geared toward the romance view.
