I miss having woods to traipse through. Mama & Daddy had 80 acres that we grew up playing in. Your scenery is beautiful. What a wonderful place to spend time with the Lord. Seeing that fire makes me wish I was there with some hotdogs & buns. Nothing better than a fire-charred hotdog! It's nice that your grandmother's place is still standing for you to drive by & reminisce. What a blessing to have those grandkids to enjoy. This year, I've bemoaned the fact that mine are all grown; & without little ones, Christmas is just not the same. Merry Christmas, Jan!

I grew up with 62 acres to run and be free on, and in the woods is a great place to be with the Lord. I love hot dogs on an open fire hopefully we can do that in the New Year. The grands are a blessing from God. Maybe some little ones will come along in your future. Merry Christmas.

Has Daniel been playing with fire again? Love the pond by grandparents old house! Oh the solitude of being in the woods! Everyone should experience it! LOL, he tried to play with the fire, but was having a time getting it to go, but finely did. We played hide n seek in the woods, on 4 wheelers, in the yard, and in the house, we enjoyed our kids. I want a few goats or a calf but can't do it right now because kids don't close the gate a good as it needs to be, but it still stops the donkeys from coming out most of the time. Daniel does have safety glasses. Thanks for watching.
