Maybe, but by the looks of it it's probably a tear-down. It's just so rotted out that the repairs would be too costly. Especially trying to keep it in-period. Just sucks when these beautiful old homes are left to rot. They really don't make them like they used to.

Yes, it would be a gem, but unfortunately a lot of these old Victorian's are in blighted parts of cities and most people who would want to take something on like that are wary of crime in those areas. Some areas get gentrified, but that displaces many low income residents. It's a tough one, for sure.

Starting with 1/4 of tha towel, wipe spot where you have poison ivy blisters or feel the itch beginning. Fold towel in half & wipe firmly. Fold towel and wipe firmly. Do this as long as you feel an itch. My husband reacts violently to poison ivy. I do this for him and no blister appear or they disappear quickly. Try it. What have you got to lose?

Totally agree it's a shame this house was left to rot. The front architecture shows individuality and pride of craftsmanship. Too bad they don't build houses like this anymore. I hate seeing beautiful old homes decay. This one is truly charming in a nice, mature setting. I wonder where it is, does anyone know? @@johnanonomous238 Pretty sure it's the town/city's problem to maintain the properties. Maintaining sidewalks and making sure grass isn't growing into the drains is definitely something the road crew should be handling before it gets this bad. When I was going to buy a house i knew that I wanted an old one. So I found a small town within driving distance from my job and drove around close to the City Hall. It was the town square. I found one that was obviously vacant for several years and went to the tax office to inquire who the owner was. It just so happens that a relative was from out of state and had been left the property. I asked was she going to sell it and she said yes. The house needed work but it was a grand Victorian with a wrap around porch. The price was $25, 000 and it was over 2100, square feet. WOW. Done deal. The lot hadn't been taken care of so weeds were about 4 ft tall. It took a while to get it in shape because I did the work myself, except for the roof. My yard is now an English garden style. Also, I'd put two small parking lots camouflaged with evergreen shrubs to the side limits of the property. Naturally that place will always have visitors. The driveway on the left will lead to a multi vehicle garage in the back. May need to build a guest/servant quarters in the back yard in the style of the house: simple late Victorian. And from experience, if the house were lifted 1 1/2 feet it would present so much better. Think of yellow daffodils inside that wishbone side walk and continue with all the next blooming bulbs of the spring, summer and fall. My imagination could go on and on. By the way the house next door seems interesting!

I know that lawn maintenance isn't everyone's first choice as a subject to a video. but to me i like to see the transformations that Spencer here does. you do a really good job and helping the neighbors by cleaning up their neighborhood one eyesore at a time. i am surprised you do not have 5 million subscribers by now. here is hoping it happens one day very soon. thank you Spencer. this lawn looks like it was a nightmare. but you got it done.

Great job again Spencer! That grass was THICK! It sure makes a big difference to the neighborhood. I would love to see you do the next door neighbor’s house as well! Thank you for all your wonderful yard videos! 🙏🏻❤️

That house is gorgeous and such a work of art. The work in the wood and design is lovely. What a waste. Nice yard too. The potential is huge. I am always surprised when the gutters and footpaths are revealed. Looks great. So much work. The council should be ashamed of itself.

The land is huge. Big front and back yard. The house is beautiful. Too bad it's been abandoned. It must have been stunning back in the day. Looks like a lovely and peaceful neighborhood too. Awesome job SB Mowing.

It's so sad no one loves this beautiful old gem. Thank you for cleaning up the yard.
@paulaboynton82995 ай бұрын
It might be too far gone for restoration. Also, maybe the property taxes are way high. It would have to be purchased by someone who is able to do the work themselves. Labor costs would be higher than what most of us could afford.

Once beautiful cottage. And large beautiful yard so sad it got abandoned and unloved today. Thank goodness you came and rescued the yard. I hope someone comes and rescues the rest of the property in the home and brings it back to its former glory cause it sure is a beautiful beautiful home.

I cant get over the size of that yard! What I could do with that much land is beyond imagination. A big garden for sure. The house is really cute also but it may be to far gone to save but I sure wish someone would. Great job once again on another lost home

I love this house but sad to see its deteriorating state. Wish could go back in time to its origin. Spacious yards were probably the normal back then.

I fell in love with the house at 16:30. I can see just how lovely it would be all fixed up and a fresh coat of paint. The structural detail is beautiful with the wrap around porch and the gingerbread detailing. So sad it's abandoned.

It is just divine. How could it not be salvedged? What a huge block! I live in Australia and I can't imagine a house like this would be left abandoned.

It's a beautiful house, even though it has been abandoned. And, of course, you've done an amazing job of making not only the lawn beautiful, but that amazing house visible again.

Spencer, your work is truly commendable! The meticulous edging and mowing have significantly enhanced both the property and the entire neighborhood. It’s a delightful thought to imagine the house restored to its former splendor. Could it possibly be a historical home? It’s truly disheartening to see such potential beauty in a state of neglect. I wholeheartedly support the idea of extending your wonderful work to the adjacent property. Your efforts are greatly appreciated!

Hi Spencer. You're awesome. I think you're the hardest working yard guy in America because you do it on your own. I also like watching George of Quick Cuts in Australia as he does the craziest yards on his own. You and George are amazing. Keep up the great work!!!!

I like George too, and the other Aussie Blade Mate. I just found another good one, Midlife Stockman who also does excellent work. I'm kind of addicted to these lawn-mowing channels. I like how some of them collaborate and support each other.

Spencer, thank you for cleaning this property for the neighborhood. Perfect filming. Even the drone has no camera dizzy. Neighbors - contact the owner, which could be in an estate. Also, contact the county or city. It’s the owner’s responsibility to keep it maintained. Please let this be the season of change.

I couldn't get over the size of this yard who would abandon a home with that much property! The walkways were SO much work! You should have used Al's big red monster 😅 Do you know the guy from the Boring Channel? Can you tell him to speed up his videos like you and Al do? It takes less timely and patience. Great job on this beautiful property, hopefully someone will buy this property and start taking care of it.
