From the haflong it takes 1 hours till Mahur and the trek begins from Purana Liekul village and on the half way Tumjang village authority will be there for registration to go to sielkal peak.
The best time to visit is in summer because the peak is filled with beautiful green and trees in winter those greenish mountains will become dry and yellowish.
