The guy, with a gamusa around his neck, washes his hands and says that there's nothing to dry his hands with. Haha. Anyways, man great work, I love your videos, keep it up.
@chowborgohain62955 жыл бұрын
Gamusa is not for washing hands, at least he knows about that. Gamusa is the slang word for Bihuwan.
@kalpajyotiborah71345 жыл бұрын
@@chowborgohain6295 "Gamusa" literally means Ga (Body) and Musa (to wipe dry) in Assamese. It might be offered as a bihuwan (honorary souvenir) but that doesn't mean that he can't use it for what it's meant for.
@chowborgohain62955 жыл бұрын
That's what I'm saying at first it was not Gamusa, it was Bihuwan. Bihuwan was symbol of respect. We changed the true meaning of Bihuwan. How can someone use something to wipe while it is being offered as an honor to show respect to somebody! David is just being respectful in return unlike us.
@rajuaditya67975 жыл бұрын
He didn't want to disrespect it idiot As it was offered to him with respect
@kalpajyotiborah71345 жыл бұрын
@@rajuaditya6797 Stop with the name calling, where there is no necessity. It shows your upbringing and your culture. I have been offered a gamusa many a times but I don't store them or keep them as a display unless it's a "Pator gamusa" or "Silk Gamusa", which is much more elegant and a very poor absorbent fabric which means it is made to be displayed and not used. David's got a cotton made gamusa around his neck. It was made to be used. I don't think it's disrespectful to use something which was meant to be used. We people in Assam use it. The gamusa is versatile, beautiful and useful which is why it is so respected.
