Looking at the container from the time of purchase of the other store, you can definitely see the progress you have made. Cleared / processed by end of 2024? That was a nice order for the lime green inverted slopes (not my favourite colour, but curious to know what they are building!). And some nice finds in the bulk. Now on the Keith and Dan music chat (I wonder how many Lego people read this stuff ? 🤔😀), in order to celebrate St. David’s day I went into the archives and dug out some Budgie! And then KZbin showed me the new Black Country Communion track. I think I can say it would not have been out of place on Purple’s Come Taste the Band album. Needless to say the new album is on pre-order 😁)

First off, thanks for the order, much appreciated. As for the container, it definitely looks a lot different to when it was "FULL" of the other store purchase. Now it's half full of my crap :) - Was pleased with the bulk finds, hopefully there's more goodies in those tubs to be uncovered. Now welcome to Dan and Keith's music week - Must admit I never got into Budgie in a big way although have I been known to have covered "Turn to Stone" in a band many moons ago. Another band I really must give more of a listen too. Totally agree with you about the latest BCC track and its funky vibe, very reminiscent of what is whithout doubt my favourite Deep Purple album. As you can imagine Mrs Brick Arena loves it since Glenn is her man. I myself have been listening to some Jani Lane (of Warrant) demos that were never released, he's was such a good song writer. Some great tracks which sent me on a bit of a cruise through my Warrant discography. Remember to tune in next week to Dan & Keith's Music week.

It's always surprising how valuable so few pieces can be. It's great to see the orders ticking out for you. I do enjoy seeing the bulk tubs being picked through. Would you say that most used, mixed bulk being sold on ebay would hold profit for a bricklink seller? I can't imagine you would lose money with so many parts to list up from a mixed bundle. As always. Thanks so much for the content and I can't wait to see more

Yeah it can be surprising how much you can find, though not all bulk produces gems. In the main if your buying at the right price i.e. £5-£6 a kilo its impossible not to make money. But do factor in the hard work and time involved

I sense a bit of procrastination creeping in with the backlog/death pile of the bricks in the storage container. Sorting is boring I admit, and i think your audience can sense its becoming a grind. It even makes boring viewing, as each video has stagnated to the "same ole". Why not change up a few things on what you film, even if it means a shorter video. Why not film yourself going to a toy/lego exhibition - and seeing what you could haul..... "take a look at the recent "resale rabbit" video - he went to the LEGO Dinosaur exhibtions, and it was a COOL watch.

I completely understand the sentiment and I am very aware of how repetitive the content has become. Let's be honest, I am not going to be buying a huge store every 6 months. However, I have to balance the real workload and getting stuff done vs what might be entertaining. I have at times considered stopping the vlogs, after all it is the the orders that pay my bills and certainly not KZbin. But I do enjoy the interaction that KZbin brings. I agree, I need to shake things up a bit, it's just a question of priority and energy.

Just stumbled over your stuff and one question: As a Afol from Germany, i used to order from the UK all the time. Then came Brexit and now the shipping costs doubled (for whatever reasons) and i have to add 19% VAT. How big is the impact of that for you as a seller (if you're doing that long enough to have a comparison)?

Hi, it has definitely had a reasonable price impact on international sales. The VAT is the biggest issue from what I see it I believe you are now paying VAT from any international orders you place. It works the same way in the opposite direction though so less uk buyers are shopping in Germany also. As for postage, I don’t think it’s increased that much. I think a 100g large to Germany is approx £3.26. It may be that people are charging for tracked service which is more expensive.
