Seeing the behind the scenes of setting up spreadsheets and the dealing with the vagaries of postal weights / sizes was a) more interesting than I thought it would be, and b) confirms I will never be a seller 😀( too much trouble and I am a Lego Borg in that all Lego should be assimilated into my collection). Shipping container halved? Excellent news! It has been an entertaining journey so far (well, for your viewers….) and we’re not halfway through the year yet so maybe completely empty for beginning of 2025? Seeing the order for dark red brought back a flashback of a Lego Related Injury earlier in the week - slight modification to an existing MOC involving the removal of a 1x1 tile….which of course broke in two (how?) and stabbed me; wonder if Lego can be held responsible? Right, KDDK time! Several cds to get through, so in order I listened to them: The End Machine with The Quantum Phase. This is George Lynch of Dokken fame ( who I have heard tracks from over the years, but don’t think I have anything on vinyl or cd). Solid album, nice guitar playing and good vocalist. Next the veteran blues guitarist Walter Trout with the album Broken. Ashamed to say, this is the first recording I have of his. Enjoyed this one, the collaborations with Beth Hart ( have a couple of her solo anlbums) and Dee Snider ( sure there’s some Twisted Sister buried somewhere in the collection!) we’re very good. Airbag with Another Day at the Beach. Right, I like Airbag. Prog, 80’s influences, switching from almost electronic ambience to wailing guitar solos, clear vocals, think early Porcupine Tree; from the opening single repetitive note to the long silences between tracks….can’t sort Lego to this one as get distracted to much 😀; did I mention I like Airbag? And last, and not least, finally managed to listen to the Lebanon based prog metal band Turbulence with their concept album Binary Dream; different time signatures? Check. Several tracks / passages without lyrics? Check. Good noodling musicianship? Check. This one though I think is going to take a few listens too but I am intrigued and may check out their back catalogue. Good haul on the Glen Hughes back catalogue. Phenomenon? Completely forgotten about that one, I have that on vinyl somewhere. Next week, thinking I might revisit the first three Dio albums ( first two are definitely classics of the genre, but I did struggle with the third, so time for a reappraisal.

Glad you found some of the behind-the-scenes interesting. It's certainly not all just lego sorting and picking orders. Quite pleased about the container, been meaning to do it for ages and just pontificated (possibly because it was too cold), but am glad to say the transfer is now complete (apart from a sweep-up). Now to KDDK... Not heard of End Machine before. George Lynch has never really clicked with me hugely, though I know how highly rated he is. Obviously I have most of the Dokken stuff which was pretty good, but since leaving I haven't listened to much although I must say I love the first KXM album with him and Dug Pinnock (who I'm a huge fan of). Just listened to the first track and have to say it sounds really good. Walter Trout is another I haven't really given any opportunity to, so I'll have to try and put that right. Airbag are also new to me so you're really giving me a lot of homework this week to get through :) Turbulence sounds interesting, listening to the opening track reminds me of Pain of Salvation, which is definitely a good thing. I'll add all these to my playlist for this week (isn't this what's great about streaming). The Glenn Hughes bundle was a bit of a punt in that we only really needed the BCC CDs, (we have all the others) but at under £50, I thought it was a bargain and I may look to resell some of them. Dio is certainly a good shout but like you, my interest waned somewhat on later albums. Saw them on the last in line tour which from memory was a great show. I also have it on my to-do list to give the latter albums another chance. As for my week, aside from the Hughes bundle I picked up a couple of other CD's. Two of the are more recently released Vanden Plas albums I didn't own and the other was a solo album by Michael Pinnella (the Keyboard player from Symphony X), which is interesting and quite like the more orchestral, classical parts of Symphony X. Also listened to Lost Behind The Mask by Circus of Rock which is really good hard classic rock with a range of vocalists, only played once or twice but am enjoying it. Aside from that some country in the form of Riley Green's new album. Continuing to watch tons of video content and with a tenuous link to last week's W.A.S.P interest was a great live performance of I Don't Need No Doctor by Humble Pie and the Black Berries on The Midnight Special channel - great stuff, and Steve Marriott really makes me think of Angus Young on this.

Same in my life but due to shift work and flipping days and nights all the time.

Thanks for the video, I had the wrong field for size setup and kept selling raised baseplate without requiring invoice, lost tons of profit.

Glad it helped.
