True ..Abida Sutana was a Great legendary person. My grandfather Qazi Ishtiaq Siddiqui remained associated as legal assistant with Abida Sultana's family. My father had rich memories of Bhopal state before partition. As a tribute,my father added Shaheryar with my name and later l continued adding the name of Shaheryar to my three sons instead of Siddiqui. Now we have shifted from Malir Karachi and residing in Canada. We keep remembering Shaheryar's family in our prayers.

I understand your love towards Shahzadi's family and adding any name as a middle name should be fine. But remember Siddiqui is not just a name, it defines your family tree and kinship to Hazrat AbuBakr Siddique RA. You should have added Shaharyar as the middle name and kept the Siddiqui as the last name. BTW I am Siddiqui too and moved from Malir to Canada. Respect!

I saw Shahzadi Abida Sultan's beautiful white house in Malir when I was a teenager in 1990's. The house was near Baba Wilayat Ali Shah mazar and close to railway lines. A beautiful memory!!!

My father used to go to malir to meet begum Bhopal (Be Amma) because my father's know begum Bhopal since State of Bhopal ie pre partition, because my grandfather used to be their doctor and he was a famous doctor of his time and used to live in the banglow near bara talab in Bhopal. My father used to call begum Bhopal (Be Amma).Bhopal is the beautiful state, lots of farms and beautiful buildings surrounding by lake's. Bhopal has a famous hockey team of his time in the name of Bhopal wonder's who's lot's of players represented India in Olympics.

Mera par nana Nawab of Bhopal Siddiq Hasan Khan the, jisne Begum Shah Jahan se shadi kre thi. (Begum Sultan Jahan ki ammi). humara khandan Nawab Siddiq Hasan Khan ki pehli shadi se hai, Zakiyah Begum ke sath, jo Bhopal ka PM ki beti thi. Hum bhi Karachi agaye the 47 mein.

@@rajSingh-xd3kn humara khandan Pakistan agaye the 47 mein. So no lol. Can't go to India now, thanks to BJP. But we do have links with Shehryar Khan and others who are from the same familywho also went to Pakistan. My mother moved to London after marrying my father, so I was born and bred there.

His great grandmother commissioned for the first Masjid to be built in the UK in Woking. I even met Saif once, many years ago at a show in Amsterdam. But at that time I did not know my family history lol.
