I’m a genxer. Grew up in the 70s and 80s- we’ve been fighting this fight a long time and we really felt that by now all the hate in the world would be gone. We really were dreamers and the vast majority of us just wanted everyone to get along. Even us metal heads wanted everyone to “learn how to love and forget how to hate “

Ozzy released this in 1980. This was written by Ozzy Osbourne, Randy Rhodes (Guitar god), and Bob Daisley. Its definitely one of my favorites. I feel sorry for the younger generations that never got to see some of the greatest bands in history.

Yes, this is Ozzy's song. He was front man for the greatest heavy metal rock band of all time, Black Sabbath. This song is one of his solo offerings after splitting from Sabbath. The song was also used in a car commercial. Songs you might want to react to: "War Pigs" - Official Video with Sabbath, "Mr. Crowley", & "Mama, I'm Coming Home", the last 2 from his solo career.

I liked this video. I have never seen it before. FYI for all you Ozzy lovers. He has a book called I Am Ozzy; it is written in his own words and language. It is 400 pages long and I read it in2 days. I could not put it down and laughed out loud so much. It covers all of his shenanigans and craziness. I found it on Amazon

I got that book for my son for Christmas, a record player, and “Blizzard of Oz” album . He’s twenty-six, and Loved it. He’s a huge fan of Music of any kind, but his heroes ( because of “Guitar Hero” on Xbox) were and still are Randy Rhodes and Eddie Van Halen. Me being an 80’s girl, warmed my heart❤😂😂 My youngest son is twenty two would smoke his brother on the game. He’s a guitarist.

I think u will find a lot of the beats u know from hip hop is sampled from rock from the 70s thru the 90s. An interesting rabbit hole is is to listen to "old school" rap and then research the beats. Shows that music continues to spin forward, and that if you look deep enough a link can be found between all generations of music. That is why those who judge from the present only as a filter are usually behind when they think they are ahead

Yes- learn how to love and forget how to hate! People constantly living with hate don’t realize they’re swallowing poison and waiting for the object of their hate to die. Yet the person/ people they hate are just going about their lives not knowing or caring you hate them. So who’s the fool?

Came out a long time ago, 1980, I was 18 yrs. I saw OZZY Live in 1983, on my 21st B-Day. Randy Rhoads and Rudy Sarzo played the strings on this song. Randy Rhoads (lead guitar)was originally with Quiet Riot and when I saw OZZY in '83...Quiet Riot also played that show (US Festival '83) and Rudy Sarzo (bass guitar) was now in Quiet Riot.

You should watch LILIAC' cover to this song, easily the best cover of this song I've ever heard. They killed it. They mastered Holy Diver also. After Dio's wife heard their cover to her husbands song, she got ahold of them and asked them to do a tribute to her husband, and once again they absolutely nailed it.

Ozzy played at the Mid South Coliseum in 1982. He went to jail and spent all weekend because his manager refused to get him out. After the concert, he was standing outside to the side of the coliseum and he peed on some dude and was arrested. I will never forget that. I loved the concert but he was so messed up on drugs back then.

The video you watched isn't even the whole song....they skipped the middle verse in that video. Randy rhoads was a very talented and great guitarist. I wish we could have seen what else he would have came out with. For those that don't know it ..Ozzy didn't write the lyrics to this song....randy and geezer butler did I believe. This song came out in 1981 I believe on Blizzard of Ozz.

Ozzy was asked in an interview once, if he was a crazy drug addict alcoholic and thats y he acts insane at times on stage ? He answered by saying, we write our own music, lyrics, and stage shows and u guys think were nuts. Yet Stephen King can write a horror book, someone else films a movie of it, someone else makes the music for the movie, and y guys give them awards an call them genious's. And Hollywood is filled with drug addicts. alcoholics

@@-CHaPPy- Didn't ask for your opinion and it was totally uncalled for. You are just a hater. My comment didn't take anything away from Ozzy or this reaction. But, can you say that Ozzy didn't make mistakes in his personal life? Many people have, and there is no reason to call anyone out on past mistakes. Go ahead and attack if you never made a mistake.
