yes definitely do the countdown again :) also when we shopped for families through our local Christmas Bureau fundraisers, the toys that we were most requested by children were monster high dolls, disney tsum tsums (plush toys) and monopoly.

Advice for toy drive- though I don’t have any specific toy recommendations, I do want to mention not to forget about the older kids. So much focus is for the younger tots that the older ones tend to miss out on presents 💕 Love you, Ingrid!

I haven’t left a comment on your videos before but I’ve been following you for YEARS and I just wanted to tell you how important you are to me, Ingrid, I can’t thank you enough for your content. Your presence is always so calming, and you always remind me to be present and mindful. The holidays are a really hard time for me and my depression has been so so bad but being able to watch your vlogmas videos and experience some Christmas joy (as well as the other little joys like Tato) really helps me get through the day. Ingrid's vlogmas was the first KZbin videos I ever watched. I was a teen. It was my daily addiction. I learned everything about KZbin community from you. From makeup and fashion to deeper stuff. Seeing Tayto makes my heart ache a bit in a good way sometimes because his personality reminds me a lot of my dog who sadly had to be put down last year. She stayed with my mom when I moved out to go to university and whenever I got back home she was over the moon and running around the house excitedly. Therefore, seeing this reunion of the two of you felt very special. Thank you for these moments, they truly mean a lot to me even though I know neither you nor your dog personally.

Also Tayto is seriously the sweetest little pupper T_T I think for the toy drive there's probably a high need for pencil crayons/writing tools/art supplies for students. Maybe you could get a combination of school supplies and some cute notebooks? For really young kids I think Hatchimals and Lego's are still really popular haha

Oh my God, I never realized that you had basically invented Vlogmas!? My bday is on December first, and I started watching in 2011 or 2012, I'm pretty sure: since then, vlogmas is my lifeline between my bday and Christmas! I'm usually pretty busy with university, and now that I work as a TA, it's grading season, and I loooove watching Vlogmas when I take breaks or after I'm done with a grading task! I like that it gets my mind off work and gets me feeling more festive. A lot has changed since then, but hey, STILL PRESENT! ;) And thanks for continuing the tradition, you pioneer woman you!

Yes the queen is back! For the toy drive, get chemistry sets, chessboards, puzzles, basically toys that inspire thinking.

Toys for older kids (like ages 9-12) since they tend to be left out during toy drives! So you could buy a book, art supplies, puzzles, etc. ☺️

For your toy drive I always love to give playdough for younger kids. It supports creativity and fine motor skills that are SO important for younger kids! For older kids legos (again I love the gifts that expand imagination and expression) but also the make it yourself diy kits are big hits with the 10 and up kids. I've got a 12 & 10 & 6 & 3 year old right now. The olders love the scientific experiments and the youngers are obsessed with playdough.

The christmas decorations in London looked beautiful. Coming home to a happy dog is the best. A watercolor set and a pad of paper. Target has a big one where the colors look like ink pads. I hope you have a great week!

INGRID - I used to travel all over for work and I also worked with vendors, clients, etc. One thing I found really helpful was to pack a flattened box for shipping and shipping labels. Then I would just send the clunky things home and didn't have to overload my baggage.

I am so excited that you’re doing vlogmas this year, as much as I love re-watching your old vlogmas videos, it is nice to have something new!! You should get an array of the body positive barbies with all different skin tones, they have the whole collection (or close to it) at FAO Schwartz in Rockefeller Center.
