I love your blogs and am a bit late catchingup. I am starting to knit and made a couple of basic knitted hats and a scarf which I gifted. My main escape from the hectic days of life is to sew . I'm still learning but I take inspiration from you. Your home looks amazing for xmas and it must have been difficult to take it all down and pack away! I trust you have many happy memories . That sounds wonderful! Are they for gifts or for yourself? My socks are for myself but i'm Suppose to be making a hat for my husband. lol I think he might be getting it after Christmas. lol

@@bekahjanthevintagedreamer no the socks are a gift but I do have a fun pair on hold for now that are for me that I’ll finish after Christmas. I finished 2 hats and the one on the needles now will be done today .I might try to squeeze in one more hat

The hat ended up taking me an extra day to complete, I kept falling asleep while working on it lol I haven’t made much progress on the socks so I’ll be working on them but I won’t finish them on time, the lady they’re for wears a size 11 shoe, 68 stitches
