I just finished a puzzle. It was a 500 piece puzzle. I hadn’t done a puzzle in years and thought why not. Long story short. I loved it! Took me 4 days.

I think starting with a 1,000 piece jigsaw was very ambitious, Claire and Gary! I bought a couple of 500 piece Jigsaws during lockdown and they were quite enough of a challenge and took weeks to complete 😄 It is satisfying when you finally do, though! Good luck with the next one 😊

I do the edges first and then do the colours separate in plastic containers to use when you need them it always works for me xxxx

When I was a kid we always did a jigsaw at Christmas .we had a Waddingtons around the World ,round puzzle,which came out every year.I loved that puzzle and looked forward to doing it every year.

My mum used to do jigsaws on the kitchen table and if she saw you helping she went nuts, my sister in law does them all the time. Do the edging first. As for brown bananas you could make banana bread with them

I was on a study day last week and one of our tasks was to take part in quiz in order to receive jigsaw pieces 🧩 to complete a puzzle ( team work) and I have to say the kid in me really enjoyed doing a jigsaw 😂 I was thinking of suggesting to my husband that we get one .. whoa you two are hardcore I love the Timelapse .. makes it look so easy hehe - enjoy x

Hi Claire & Gary! Love puzzles, but they take time. Try a 500 piece ☺Amazon sells felt puzzle mats, which I love because you can roll it up and put it away when you need to. It can also come with sorting mats...check it out! I make tomato soup like yours quite often...yummy and healthy!

I use big cardboard to put it on and pick away at it. I put pieces on cookie sheets. I put it all stacked under the couch. It is hard to do 1,000 pieces.

Start off with a smaller puzzle and gradually build up to the big 1000 piece ones .It's an art ,like doing sudoku or,crosswords ,you have to train your brain to recognise the bits that fit together. xxx
